Knee length? Has to be thigh high at least!
Morning, where is everyone ? It's lunchtime!
Sat stuffing a large Danish Pastry and coffee after putting in at least an hours hard work delivering to Smithfield Market.
Now have to wait until 6 for next place to open .
Lappy has been attacked by virus!

Sitting down with Mr Bob and taking him through his budget maybe Bob? But you've been there before I think.

Electrodes on the testicles ? ' Ve haff vays of making you budget!'

:rotfl::T I reckon his testicles are immune by now Pepe:eek::rotfl:

He did sit down late on last night, after he spent 4 hours ignoring me- like it was all my fault for not doing it. Pointed out that he was doing his best- so for him, i suppose he is.:o This was to do with Crapital one and 6 month review- he is putting down what he thinks is his half of the bills. I said, so when are you going to pay me for all the mortgage payments then? Seeing as he hasn't paid one for over 20 months, when i said i would so that the payments would go to the overdraft  He also said that as i pay for the food then he will leave that off the budget:eek:( he is a bit dumb some times) Crapital one will have more money that he can't afford off him. I even showed him the CCCS budget planner as well- not that he took any notice of that. I am not tight and feel as fast as i am budgeting then it seems to go out of the window. He said he was paying on time, which is not quite true-given the phone calls we have:o And yes his debt is going down- but the overdraft is going up..so something not quite right there methinks.

And breathe- i am taking it as a learning curve and one that he will unfortunately have to continue the hard way. He happily takes my money and advice when it suits him. The money is no longer an option as he needs to sort it out properly. That will mean that he gets himself a basic bank account and will have to put money into main account to cover his half of bills and a bit off the overdraft. I put half in, but will no longer be paying all the mortgage-I am not a mug- was trying to give him a helping hand- i get fed up of that hand being bitten all the time.

    Dons the thigh length boots:cool::rotfl:

  • Have been a busy bee this morning.

    Shred once again done:D

Bottomed the living room-all proper like, behind the couch and everything. Having 5 mins before i do the windows.

Checked banking:o Ten days to payday:D

Have to menu plan for the next few days so we don't buy more than is needed. So will crack on with that later on.

Off to look at snowball then i can get a good idea what to do next.:D

Have a couple of bookie offers in my mail-may well foray into a matched bet.

Off to finish ironing, and windows.

    Have a good day.

Poddles off to see what else i can find- money wise :)

I also find it a rather depressing statement about human nature when kindness is seen as weakness, and people see your help as though they're doing you a favour. Sometimes to stop it, you do have to put yourself in an uncomfortable position, and them in an uncomfortable position too. I know it's hard, but stick to your guns. You will see this through.

The other choice where hate and resentment builds up until it overflows is an extremely poor alternative.

Blimey Bob ! Talk about making it hard for himself! He needs to just fill in ONE budget form , making sure that the expenses are suitably high so ad to keep payment low , and that's job done for the Year. Just don't send thye original.
You know that. Quite how you beat it into him I don't know .

Got to get busy on getting rid of the virus from the lappy! It's been infected by a spoof Security System called Antimalware Doctor . Got a killer for it but need to find sa way to stop it reloading when I reboot . Could be bribing our IT dept with biscuits tomorrow.

Typing all this on my HTC gives me cross-eyes . X

I don't know what to say Z- he is caught in a trap of behaviour, which he and i find very difficult to get out of. I will stick to my guns- i don't see any other way now.

I must admit that it makes me feel like an idiot at times.:o On the one hand i have a kind man-who will do anything for me and on the other hand i see someone who is bent on some sort of mission which constantly drags us down. I don't know how else to put it.

Unfortunately "My way, or the patio" isn't a very good catchphrase...

Why do you need to put it another way? The mission as you put it, is a self-indulgent (and costly) little bursts of pleasure caused by spending - then a long drawn out sulk, wanting mummy to take it (and the bad men) away. No, it's not mature, and it is having a detrimental effect, but unless he actually feels that detrimental effect, then he will never change.

After all, if it's not affecting him, why should he?

That's what i said- he caved in though. I wouldn't allow him to send bank statements as they were in joint names and i have nothing to do with his debt as i refuse to pay towards Crapital one. He was worn down with phone calls-or rather the couple he picked up one Sunday, after they persisted. I sent the letter re phone calls and they stopped. He filled in their budget sheet and blocked my name off bank details and anything which was linked to me- nothing really only payments i make to pay half the bills. Then sent it. So that was his decision, not one i endorse and he did say that i wanted him to deal with it so he did.:o
He did ring them today though and will fill one in over the weekend. Properly looking at things.
Maybe GJ could help with your virus software-he is a whizz with these things:D

It does affect him, as he withdraws into himself-then sulks. His pattern of behaviour is predictable, i think he made the grand effort and that is his answer to it all.

He knows i will make sure stuff is paid- so it will be a shock to him to now find a new DDebit set up to pay the mortgage. I will put exactly half in and it will go out as soon as he is paid. :D
