It is supposed to be nice there-haven't been myself but have worked in the area.

Have you checked out Martin's guides re the summer offers?

    Dr.Who exhibition
The sea life centre? I am sure i saw some offers for that somewhere.
The tower- again i am sure you can get some offers for that as well.

    Enjoy yourself GJ.

Noticed an offer today as I passed the tower...save ticket from tower to get half price entry to Tussauds
  • Well you know when you think everything is sorted and then it isn't?

Student loans sent my daughters request form back today-saying they have no application form to match it too:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Two phone calls later and i find out -they have lost her application form,:mad::mad: Now they have sent everything else back, all the evidence requested etc. Which funnily enough was in the application form and at the relevant sections-so how the F*** do they lose it?
We are unable to fill in online for some reason-so have to do another form and send it off. They just beggar belief-and why wait until now?:mad: No doubt it will mean a delay to everything when the new term starts. We were in the time frame as well. I am so mad at them i could spit.

So that's been most of my day-sorting this absolute mess out.

I did some shopping this morning whilst in town-managed to pick up Two Dr.Who bed covers, for £10 which will finish off Christmas pressies for nephews. Just have to find a couple of bits and bats for others then i am sorted. In total Christmas is coming in at under £30 for all the relatives, am chuffed at that.

Washing and ironing sorted.:D Two wash loads out today for bedding- one more in the wash.

No shred today, as i haven't had time:o But i did get on the scales and another 1LB off:j:j:D

So hopefully the final hurdle with SLC and then we are sorted.

    Bob x

I'm afraid to say that is SLC for you - used to deal with them in my old job and they are utterly useless, so many students had the same problem. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Well done on the 1lb :D

  • Thanks Squizz, i have dealt with them before- but have never known it as bad. All sent off and done on special delivery. Which i made a point of quoting back at them for all the previous postings. They have had the forms- i am so mad that DD has to go through this. Luckily i have some money aside- not sure on the protocol re the UNI, they will just have to wait for dosh i suppose.
