    Had a lovely day thanks. Managed to get three wash loads out today :) Two this morning and one as we left.

    Visited a friend in Lancaster who has the most adorable little short haired kitten-he looks just like bagpuss-i want one :)

    Visited mum in Morecambe who was a bit poorly then headed off to the seafront and participated in a meal deal Two for £10- I have to say, it was really good- i had a lovely salad.

    Then walked along the pier to just drink in the view-perfick :)

    Well that was the end to the day- fair enjoyed it.

    Hope everyone else's was as nice, a bit of sunshine does us all the world of good.

    :rotfl::rotfl:he was striped, but would call it more a sandy/marmalade colour-can't really put a colour to him, but he has the same little face and is such a lovely temperament :)


    Sorry to hear about your mum.

    Thanks- she just broke a tooth, got an abscess and the antibiotics upset her constitution a bit:o She is feeling better now she has had a sleep.

    Sounds like a good day out Bob. Glad that your Mum is feeling a bit better now- is that her on your fb pics from your DS 2 's birthday ? That kitty sounds gorgeous - have never had a cat but have it on good authority that ginger toms are the best ! LOVE bagpuss too - do you remember a few years ago when bagpuss bags were everywhere ? I was sooooo tempted but decided I was too old :( Bit worrying that Zed knows what colour he is ! :p

    The cat is also one of my friends FB avi-have a look you can't miss him:smileyhea

    He just spent the best part of the afternoon draped over one or other of us, while he was thoroughly fussed over:D

    Unfortunately, I am that age...but young enough to have a colour TV too... :tongue:

    I have just seen a piccie of a long haired one- i am sooo in love now :)
