Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
but if you (all/any of you) come I will want to come and sit with you because then I would be guaranteed a fun time:o:p
Don't you remember the last time Flyladies accompanied a poster. We took along an elephant  We can repeat the experience if you likeJojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »LW shall I pop up there on the 11th, (like I said I was due to for a Day School) and do a late night switch where you wake up on the Saturday morning to find someone has abducted your BD and exchanged it for a giant concrete cow in your living room?
Love it :T:rotfl:
Children both have prescriptions for hayfeverThey're making me breakfast, then DD is off to see a horse *shruggy man smilie*

We call it the flylady thread and take it in turns to do a bit of 'light' housework and the rest of the time we take it in turns to have crisis and the others support us. I hope you stay because we need you too.
That is so perfectly put :Aprettypennies wrote: »Morning ladies,
My prayers go out to the people of Cumbria and the family of Shelley Armitage in Bradford.
What a day3 people, including a toddler, died in Derbyshire, too, and it hardly made the news
Pen
if it helps sometimes when the pollen count is very high a 'new' allergy develops - I was about 16 when mine started.
One thing that does help is to suck cool water up the nose then blow it back out - seems to calm things down. But hay fever/SAR/asthma and eczema go together as a set. I have had the full set! Fortunately for me though I have outgrown the asthma, eczema is few and far between (and I know some people have eczema so badly it massively impacts on day-do-day living and it NOT to be dismissed lightly - not least because open weeping sores can lead to infection) so just the SAR. Trouble is I have that EVERY season
Thanks, Valli :A:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning all – hope you are all well. To all the Cumbrian ladies, my heartfelt condolences for what has happened, I hope you haven’t been directly involved. I don’t do ‘news’ as such, just watch the headlines then turn off, I can’t do with knowing too much.
I’ve had a slight catch up and I hear we have to give an almighty kick to the BD that is camping at LW’s. My lovely; as others say we enjoy reading your posts and you are a valued member, so you can’t leave – it’s hotel California here!
AnW’sMum – hope Miss A has had a fab time.
I here Toots is going on a retreat – must of missed that – so hope you have a fab time
JoJo – please don’t think it has anything to do with you, some kids need to learn a hard lesson, just be there to pick up the pieces x
Gawd – my head has gone completely blank now, so love and hugs and coping vibes to all those I have missed.
Flying – I’ve done a load of washing and hung it out. It’s glorious here and poor me is now sat at work looking at it! I’ve also given myself a mini pedicure – I had to before I could wear sandals and painted my finger nails. Also loaded to DW and set it going.
Many thanks for your posts yesterday – the blasted thing is still here I’m afraid sat at my feet. Regarding Danny; he could get discharged for being injured, but I want him to make the right decision for himself and not rush into anything thing. He’s now saying he will wait until he is well and back in Munchengladbach before he makes his decision. For me – I wouldn’t shed a tear if he left, believe me!
DD2 is still having pains, but not in any sort of regular pattern, so goodness knows when things will happen.
Hope you all have a good day xTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
Morning everyone!
Haven't posted much this week, or at all, actually! I'm off work for half term & DH has put a weeks holiday in too.
I've only really managed to skim the thread, but healthy vibes to Lady-L, Toots & Diva.
Hope you find some peace of mind with your DD Jojo, sounds like good advice from Pigpen & Triker.
LameWolf please keep posting! I like hearing about Beethoven's bust & your dragons - you have flair!! & your furry lodgers of course.
Flying-wise :jMON & TUES ALL DONE :j
DH has excelled himself this week - he has put shelves up in the garage & has been v busy sorting through all his [STRIKE]stuff that may come in useful sometime[/STRIKE] carp. He's got rid of loads & the rest is being stored on the new shelves. I just have some gardening stuff to sort out in there & then I might be able to fit my car in for the first time in about 4 years!!
I wonder if I could ask for some sponsorship? I'm doing a parachute jump with others from work  on 13th June in aid of a local hospice (Ashgate) Help for Heroes & the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. We are all paying for our own jumps so all the sponsorship will go to the charities.

Hope it is ok that I post this here. If anyone can spare a bit I would be very grateful! Thank you!!
Off to do the bathroom & bedroom, then taking DD to see Sex & the City this afternoon.....0 -
Lamewolf keep posting you have to stay!!!!!!!
posi vibes to LL, diva + toots.
pen:- thats what the GP thinks about my hand last week with the huge blisters. Apparently new pollen has accumulated so my hand blew up. I have asthma, mild eczema so i do tend to be careful with what my powder/products i use. But the pollen / hayfever some people fine then bham it hits them, out of the blue.
Whats awful stories in derbyshire and cumbria. Anyone who's over there hugs.
That's the best thing to do for Danny, no point in rushing into a decision, he case he regrets it. To the BD here's there a bone now shove off!!!
Well i've done the front room, have two bags one full of paper work the other toys.
Just having my brekkie now, then going to hang the washing out and see about a picnic in the park.0 -
Morning all
It looks like another nice day here and our trip to Leeds is cancelled (DH still sulking), so I'll see what I can get done. Flying in the house until lunch, and then the playhouse, I think.
Must also phone dentist and come up with an idea for tea.
I'll catch up at lunch time, I think. x0 -
Good morning oh organised ones
