Morning campers :) Well I'm awake, showered, dressed and just eating a light breakfast of toast and jam :)

I've fed the birds outside and now there's a free for all between the starlings and the sparrows :rotfl:Mr and Mrs Wood Pigeon have been beating up an interloper wood pigeon for some reason. Obviously he didn't fit in the pecking order, poor thing :( It will be interesting to see how many baby starlings throw themselves against my patio doors during the day - yesterday they were being rather foolish and it sounded like they were having a game out there, "Let's see who can be knocked out first!!":rotfl: Haven't seen Asbo robin for a couple of days, wonder if he is courting or looking after his mate :) The resident harvest mouse has been out wandering around the garden, he has two mates by the looks of him. Although I'm not sure if one is actually a baby, it definately looks a lot smaller than the other two.

Haven't got much planned today, although I have to stay in for a parcel delivery - DH's anniversary present is due to be delivered so I want to be around for that. I've also got a stack of books being delivered at the same time - yeah I know I was a bad girl yesterday, but DH says he will buy them for our anniversary:T

Think I will bank up the potatoes today as they have suddenly grown two inches during two days :) Apart from that I am not venturing out in the garden, well only to hang the washing out :)

Hugs to everyone, especially LL, Toots and Diva xxx

Onto my list, although I won't be doing too much as I don't want to set myself back and be sick again:

    Morning ladies,
My prayers go out to the people of Cumbria and the family of Shelley Armitage in Bradford. Did anyone else find the ITV news coverage of the incident last night insensitively sensationalist. The reporter was talking about 12 being dead but 3 more being critical as if he was willing the toll to go up.

But I'm increasingly aware that I don't have enough to offer the rest of you lovely people, and I'm a drain on everyone's energy.:( I'm sorry, I never intended to be a nuisance.:(

    Morning all

up bright and early (for me, for the hols)

didn't watch the news last night much the same as I wouldn't hang around watching a car crash/house fire/anything else awful (in fact thinking about it I don't watch soaps anymore).
Mind you I wouldn't lay flowers 'at a scene' IYKWIM - there are better things to do with money and I shall be doing that later when I have my bank card to hand.

Just having a :coffee: then breakfast and better hit the living room while there are fewer teens around...

if it helps sometimes when the pollen count is very high a 'new' allergy develops - I was about 16 when mine started.
One thing that does help is to suck cool water up the nose then blow it back out - seems to calm things down. But hay fever/SAR/asthma and eczema go together as a set. I have had the full set! Fortunately for me though I have outgrown the asthma, eczema is few and far between (and I know some people have eczema so badly it massively impacts on day-do-day living and it NOT to be dismissed lightly - not least because open weeping sores can lead to infection) so just the SAR. Trouble is I have that EVERY seasonhead%20cold.gif

HShuggies.gif to all and have a nice day!

Morning all. Well have just decluttered breakfast and stripped the bed and it's swishing in the washing machine now. Then must wash the towels next, whilst it's sunny.

It's thursday already and I've not done much on my list at all  Must get off me bum and get going. Half hour ironing now and then I can get dressed and start on all the rest of the mess/clutter. Lots of binbag dances left for me to fit in this week :o

Pen, I was in my 20's before I got hayfever - although I have always had mild asthma and eczema. Now I suffer hayfever from end of Feb (tree pollen) right through to end of August :( Windy, cloudy days are the worst for me.

And if I don't control my hayfever, then my asthma starts to play up doesn't respond well to inhalers. I tried loads of "natural" remedies, eating local honey daily before the season starts, taking extra vitamin C, showering and changing on coming home (to get rid of pollen on clothes, hair etc), vaseline up the nose :rotfl: etc but when it's high pollen count then even the prescribed drugs struggle to work :o
