watching sky news in disbelief.....Going to take dog to the vet in the morning because she's not too well and we're a bit worried about her. She's 15 tomorrow.ooh, much excitement!
DH was formally put on leave today pending redundancy:D:D. He hates his job so great from a morale point of view. I don't care if we lose the house, just good to see him looking so much happier.
My diversion activities included buying two david austin roses, and doing ltos of washing
I'm seriously thinking of asking Toots to put me on Lurker status. I don't want to get chucked off the Flylady list, because I do find that following it keeps me focussed, and stops me going mad on "good" days then spending 2 or 3 weeks flat on my back.
But I'm increasingly aware that I don't have enough to offer the rest of you lovely people, and I'm a drain on everyone's energy.:( I'm sorry, I never intended to be a nuisance.:(
Oh gods, sorry, BD has me by the neck tonight.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Oh gods, sorry, BD has me by the neck tonight.:(). You do more flying and make far more relevant posts than I do... and I'm sure I'm not the only one that applies to
:p
Don't you DARE start lurking, or we'll have to get toots to get the daily posting tally going and add you to it with the others who threatened to leave...0 -
All caught up!
Huge prayers for anyone and everyone affected by the events in Cumbria today xx
carlsberggal - hugs xx
And errrrrmmm - I'm not a boy but I have the x-rays and pictures of my armNot quite as gory as some but still .........
Triker - hope she has a fab time!
Valli - ooooh, when? I could come too
LW - you are not a drain, you offer a lot to the thread and I like reading your posts. So there"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
"I'm feeling like a Monday but someday I'll be Saturday night" - Bon Jovi0 -
Lamewolf - I value your posts, and read them in full even when I am pushed for time and am only skimming. You make me smile, you have an elegant turn of phrase and sometimes you make me appreciate just how lucky I am. You never, ever depress me.
DW refilled, beds remade, off to drink tea and read crime fiction in the bath. I would combine this with eating chocolate but Greenbee made me eat it all last week and I am not sad enough to eat a mars bar yet (salted marble pralines please oh god of chocolate ....)
Froddy - we have the scans of DHs back from both ops which he likes to admire from time to time.... scary. and he made me take photos of the scar and subsequent infection to show him.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
are yorkshire men nice then?
I like Yorkshire people in general, but the important thing seems to be to pick the right one for you, no matter which county he's from. Maybe I should have had more practice, because there certainly seem to be many nice ones about, whereas mine's indulging in a mega sulk again ...:D:D:D:D:DI have a date looming...:D:D:D:D:D:D
:Tfalsies or the real me?
Mind you Mrs Chaos would be well placed...and she would recognise me...
The real you! What am I well placed for? Think I'm a bit slow on the uptake tonight.
Lamewolf - If I lived closer to you I'd offer to come round and kick this pesky BD into touch. Don't listen to it!!! I always enjoy reading your posts and would miss you hugely. You are kind, tolerant and full of compassion and very definitely and firmly a part of this thread. x0 -
Valli~~ go as you, greenbee and I are coming with you, :jwe promise to sit in the corner and behave ourselves. (as if!!):rotfl::rotfl:
lamewolf - don't you dare slip back into lurkdom...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
