    Morning all

It looks like another nice day here and our trip to Leeds is cancelled (DH still sulking), so I'll see what I can get done. Flying in the house until lunch, and then the playhouse, I think.
Must also phone dentist and come up with an idea for tea.

I'll catch up at lunch time, I think. x

hopefully I'll soon be able toHSsingshower.gif

just been on phone to plumbers merchant. They can't get my 'basin cabinet' in gloss white but they can in matt (shaker cabinet with basin in - extra, tidy storage ;)) in new bathroom. So I'll have that then. Worksurface - have plumped for gloss white as I figure it will be more hardwearing.
Then I had to choose taps so I decided not to go too modern and I want chrome so I picked these I also want taps that stiff fingers (like mine, on occasion) can easily turn.

Have cut lawns (front and back) told neighbour that the lady who comes on a Thursday is NOT my sister but my mother rolleyes.gif

did start living room - but since my mother moaned about the grass...

having a :coffee: then I'll crack on...

15 min each done in kitchen, DR of doom and LR. Think I'll do the upstairs rooms next, before lunch/shower/playhouse.
We almost went to Leeds after all, but by the time DH changed his mind, I'd already got the day planned and just wanted to get on with things. Not the best choice in the interest of amicable relations, probably...:( He's been watching TV/dozing in our bedroom for the last hour or so. So much for changing the bedding today.
Will catch up again during lunch. Well done for all the productive mornings. :T

Thanks, valli. This made me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think I'll go for something more conventional, though.

At this rate I am going to run out of things to do. TBH I think I am being a bit silly as I am asbolutely exhausted but I am sick of things not being right in the house.

Hoping garage will call soon as my plan is to go to my local garden centre for a cuppa and a wander while I pay some nice men to clean my car inside and out then all I have to do is keep on top of it. That will get rid of 2 more extras :D

Right, bathroom has been blitzed :D Just need to mop the floor - but DH is due home shortly for lunch so not worth doing till after that ;)

Bedding is almost dry so can soon make the bed. Towels are almost washed. Bathmat will be next in the WM.

Then it'll be making CAKES and then a binbag dance and I'll be nearly caught up - till OH and the stepkids are here tonight and mess up the front room and splatter the bathroom mirrors again :o

(The hall is a tip though - OH has been bringing back tools as the current job is nearly done - they haven't yet made it INTO the hall cupboard, so are all cluttering the hallway - Daren't tidy them up for him or he'll have a hissy fit :o)

    Hi, folks.

Firstly, THANK YOU for all the votes of confidence:A. I have to admit, I've been having some horrible nightmares lately, in which my dear mother (dripping sarcasm there btw) reminded me yet again, as she very often did, that no-one, but NO-ONE would ever be interested in anything I had to say:mad:. I guess it's started getting to me.

    Pen-Pen thanks, I don't (yet) need to be excused duties – I'm hoping that'll never happen.:o

Kezlou (((HUG))) for you – I know all about family strife – it's why I'm estranged from the whole toxic boiling of mine.

Short bird I loved those pictures, specially the one with the dog toting half a tree!:rotfl:

Jojo I don't think you'd get a concrete cow in my living room!:D Btw, I've PM'd you some local taxi numbers, in case they're useful.

Rach I know zilch about pregnancy, but it does sound to me like your body's begging for a decent time-out. Take care of yourself, OK?

Rosepink I reckon we should perhaps have an option of a QHC – Quarter Hour Challenge. It's all I can do at a time, very frequently. (((HUGS)))

I don't know if anyone'd be interested, but Mr LW was asked recently to write a blog entry for the British Computer Society, on money and the internet. Anyways, he got me to help him with it, and if anyone would like to read it, here's the link:
    http://savvycitizens.bcs.org/commerce/managing-money-online-is-a-lot-more-than-just-using-your-banks-website

I've washed a couple of hand-wash-in-cold-water tops today, and also a LARGE pile of underwear (I noticed this morning that my knicker drawer was looking somewhat depleted). Why is it I always wash Mr LW's stuff with alacrity (yeah, I know I should use washing powder :rotfl:) but leave my own stuff til I'm nearly out of clothes? *shruggy smilie*

Now I must go and tackle the loo. I may be some time.....
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

What does she know... you now have evidence to the contrary. I suggest you copy and paste it into a document that you can look at when you start to think like that again. :D
