Had a surreal experience earlier when I left the gym. Gordon Brown was getting out of a range rover and looked like he was heading in with at least one of his sons. If I hadn't already been in so long I would have gone back in to see what he was doing.

:jI've just found a different venue as first venue changed their minds about accommodating us in the restaurant area and wanted to charge us £25 per head for afternoon tea.

Just booked a lovely golf club where a friend had her wedding reception a few years ago, and they are charging £7.50 per head! :T
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

GnB I tried to pm this but youi've exceeded your quota apparently

DS is revising and has to write a formula for the sum of n, n+1 and n+2 in the simplest form.

    I think 3n+3

    thanks for loooking!

Sorry, box is full and i am lazy:o

You are right, it is 3n+3, or possibly 3(n+1), which is simpler.

That's certainly not too expensive! You could try asking for '£10 ono' and be prepared to go lower.

I'll give you £10 and come and collect it from you if you let me know where you are in Derbyshire and can wait a couple of weeks lol till I can persuade hubby to go out for the day to Chatsworth Farm Shop or a craft shop lol.

    1. Clean the car.. inside and out.. get the minions to help (or do it for you!) Sadly the car is at the mechanics, still not fixed from its breakdown on Saturday...on the plus side 1) I haven't had to clean it and 2) I have got lots of jobs done by being at home the last few days instead of in Scarborough as I was supposed to be if it hadn't broken down on the way.
    2. Empty and tidy out a grotty cupboard!
    3. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE] Am now ironing pile free:D
    4. Wash any smelly soft furnishings!

    My Extras

    [STRIKE]Washing up
    Drying up
    Sow seeds
Deal with 3 in tray items
    Make dinner
    [/STRIKE]

I am so proud of myself, I feel like I worked very hard today, and I know I wouldn't have had the motivation if not for this thread and the bite size chunks instead of the to do lists I used to make (basically a list that said tidy then listed every room, then clean and listed every room - it's no wonder I never got anythng done!). So thanks everyone for keeping me going.

Am suffering a bit now with allergic rhinitis thanks to all the dust, will have to learn to delegate dusting in future!

Well, back to work tomorrow so will just be aiming for level ones for the rest of the week, as I'm unlikely to be home until at least 7pm. But will definitely be doing my best and not just vegging out.

    Have a nice evening everyone.

    Evening everyone,

Dailies and Level 1 and 2 of living room done. Had my blood test this morning. So next step is to battle with receptionist so I can see the same doctor. She was trying to persuade me to see someone else then said I have to go back and queue. At our surgery you have to go fo 12 lunch time to get an appointment. If you are right at the back of the queue there is often none left. Went to voluntary job and its been quiet today.

    Soappie. Hope BB is ok.
Triker. Good luck and calm seas for DD.
greenbee Hope you feel better soon. Take care.
    rach. Hugs.
    Lamewolf. He is gorgeous.

Hugs for everyone. Specially Toots, Lady L and Diva.
