    Plan for this morning:
    [STRIKE]start TD, WM and DW[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]wrap presents for German assistant[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]get myself and DS2 washed and dressed[/STRIKE] (DH helped DS2)
try to fit in other little jobs (oh dear, where to start...:()
    [STRIKE]leave no later than 11.30[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]take plastic recycling to Mr A's on the way to Meadowhall
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]catch supertram into town to meet with colleagues/friends and assistant for lunch[/STRIKE]

So far, so good. Lunch was lovely - can recommend 'La Perle' on the Whicker. Nice bistro/patisserie with freshly made food and reasonable prices. I even took a box of cakes home. Came back just before 4pm and promptly collapsed in bed for a good hour. Since then I have made tea for DH (unhappy with his cheese omelette, side salad and toast - either that, or he is feeling neglected) and DS2. The rest of the time I've spend SOAADFA, apart from looking at the youth hostel website ( at the prices), catching up with the thread and feeling sorry for myself. Enough of that now!!! DS1 is hoping for some food and we really need clean clothes. Time for some paracetamol and action, if in small doses, so I don't burn out.

cyclingyorkie - that doesn't sound good. Huge hugs.
My brain seems a bit fuzzy, so apologies for all the hugs, congrats and well dones I've missed.

    Cycling (((hugs)))

    Kaz - nice cake work

I have been conned by my offspring - I thought I would watch Going Postal last night but they assured me we couldn't get Sky 1

I have switched it on myself to catch THE CLOSING CRFEDITS of going postal on Sky 1.

    grrr

anyone know if/when it is being shown again?

Tonight's was the second part anyway, Valli. Both episodes are being shown back to back on Sky One on Friday from 6 - but it is 4 hours worth!

I am now watching U2 live on Sky One :D :j :T The same tour I went to see last year - the stage set is soooo amazing (as is the music!). I may get a bit emotional for Sunday Bloody Sunday
