Dining room dusted; tidy, school stuff in neat piles. All books removed, brushed (I use a paintbrush for some dusting eg ornaments with crevices that a duster can't reach -not that there are many;) and books) and replaced neatly on a dusted shelf. So just to vac in there, get washing in, put face on and go to my mums...
    Cathc you later...

Mumto5 (((hugs))) and calming vibes to deal with DD!
jackywhizz oh you lucky lady :D

I have sat in the sun for 30 mins and read some of the junk mail that came in last week so thats another job done.
2 loads of washing are drying nicely in the breeze and sun - not much ironing in it.

I should tackle the kitchen or the bathroom or the sitting room or the bedroom or the hall but....... I might go have a mooch in the shed!

    toots xx

Hello all; I'm in again; many thanks to Flylady Central Command.:o
huston sorry pet but there wont be stars until after the summer holidays at the earliest! but just you keep posting your lists and that you have done them - its still good to see people doing well.:D

I wish I hadn't seen that, it gives me plenty of time to get the house ready so I can aim for 5 stars but also loads of time to put it off as well :o
You can always make your own Star chart, using a Excel spreadsheet, if Stars help you stay focussed.:o

Bank Holiday Monday ~ Bits of not very much!
    Level One
    S&S kitchen Done
Wash the manky windows you have ignored every week it has been on the extras! :pDone; got Mr LW to do kitchen window, which is difficult for me to reach and therefore tends to get put off.
    Level Two
Bake a cake or prepare a meal you've never done before Baked bread rolls ready for Mr LW's lunch box tomorrow. Also made chocolate mousse for pud, for a treat.
Catch up on the laundry/ironing/filing.. or whatever else you have been neglecting! They're all up to date. Mr LW has FINALLY got around to replacing the sealant around the kitchen sink. He bought the stuff to do it with at least 3 years ago, and it's been sat in the loft awaiting putting in ever since.
Get your spreadsheets/budgetting/insurances etc up to date. Done
    Level Three
Empty and wash out the bins Done
Tidy one cupboard.. any cupboard bt opening one which is already tidy and saying you did that one is not good enough :pHall cupboard done – this needed Mr LW's assistance, so an ideal opportunity while he's at home.

    Extras
    1. Clean out smelly pets *Sigh* I'll be packing Sidney's suitcase tomorrow morning. Today, we've hoovered the area around his food dish about half a dozen times, tidied his bed and given him a spot of grooming.
    2. Ring/visit a friend or relly you haven't seen/spoken to in a while! I Don't Do Phones!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
    3. Binbag dance Mr LW has done his own special Binbag Dance in the loft – black bag is now well and truly full! *rolleyes*
    4. SOAADFA .. :D I know you like this one!.. Go enjoy your day! Er.... well, we shall sit and watch 2nd half of Going Postal tonight. Is that OK for this?:o
:D I've had to get Mr LW to tackle a lot of today's list - it was an ideal opportunity to get some tasks done that are difficult or totally impossible for me to manage by myself. Bless him, he's done so well today:A. I suspect once Sidney's had his eight o'clock walkies tonight, it might just be beer o'clock. What do you reckon girls?:D

I join ya but my poison is red wine.

    Done my SOAADFA today.

Not doing laundry today as my new washer is getting delivered tomorrow, its a reconditioned one but has never been used got it for a bargain 129 delivered. My washer I got for 10quid 10 years ago and it was 6 years old then - I've needed one for a long time but it works just not on the mucky kids clothes. So when I saw it I bite the bullet and bought it. Its got a guarantee but I'm storing my old faithful one just in case!

Anyway not having a CBA day but got better things to do than clean .... sorry I'm gonna spend the rest of day with the kids and OH, challenge them on mario on wii off I go to kick some artifacts .............. enjoy your bank holiday .... I will be back later ... change of plan off with MIL to pick up OH bro so he can come over ours for tea and some beer........ so see you all tomorrow..

    Morning all.
Another newbie from last week who went great guns at the beginning of the week but faltered by the end :o . But then, thats the reason im here right? Baby steps and all ;)

No bank holiday or half term here, so heres to another week :)

IMO (and no doubt those greater than me have already said) if you have done one thing more than you would normally have done then you have succeeded and this thread is brilliant and I have achieved tons last week even though it wasn't all on my list.

Have done nothing of the list, we've all be out in the garden and the veg patch looks amazing now.:j:j
Loads more things moved, seeded and changed about. Now to get some more tomorrow.:D
I'm freezing now and the my cold is just torture so i'll get all the tools back into the shed, get water heater on for kids bath, find all school things and sort uniforms.

I'll have a look at the list in abit.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
