Just been to the hairdressers, first time in far too long, I was actually quite embarrassed. Anyway lunch and then I will tackle the ironing.

BTW I love the fact that you are complaining about the weather being grey and miserable and I am sitting here in my shorts in glorious sunshine, see...Scottish weather isn't always that bad

beds stripped & remade
quick trip to bootsale - very successful, tamogochi for DS, batteries we needed, new sandals for me & DS, cucumber plants, small box of tiny power rangers and a dressing up outfit for nursery - all for £8
recycling, rubbish & broken to chair on their way to tip thanks to DH & DS

So I have to find cases, pack and pot on plants, anything else is a bonus!

Its lovely and sunny in Edinburgh too ajmoney;)

Have been to Tesco and to the doctors and pharmacy to pick up prescription for LO. Actually went to 2 pharmacies because the first didnt have what i wanted and the second only had 1/3 of script so need to go back for the rest when it is in.

Done no flying yet other than a load of washing as i'm not long back and i'm enjoying a cuppa.

Back again,

Flower bed is weeded, topped up with top soil (from the nice freecycle, call again if you want any more!!) 5 trays of bedding plants that I have grown are now planted, just got to water them in.

Bought myself a bargin £3 of 5 terracotta flower pots in different sizes, (severa lweeks ago) going to fill them up with the left over plants, then find somewhere for them to go! (I need a bigger garden)

Decluttered a salad sandwich.

OH in the bed, the cat on the bed tucked up to him and both are sound asleep, so I'll leave them for a bit longer.

I am waiting to see the photos of all the cakes you are all making today, not read any reports of caking making in progress! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Kitchen surfaces cleared and cleaned, hob cleaned and all the bits scrubbed for the first time in AGES Still not feeling very energetic, but at least I'm making progress. Guess I should call my brother and find out what the plan is for this afternoon...

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is ok. Been totally AWOL for ages but I have been very busy...not with a lot of flying I'm sorry to say but I've been at work everyday last week as SIL is off so we're really busy there and been running a bit too. Just arrived home from a 34 minute run....I covered 3 miles in 31 and a half minutes so I'm quite pleased as it didn't feel like I was going that pace.

Hope squeak's doing well Pigpen and you're taking it easy (as if!!!).

Hope you're feeling better soon Natty.

Off for a bath before DH gets back from Tesco with the girls then we've got IL's round for tea later on. Think I'm doing Nigella's chicken pie (and a veggie version for me & the girls) with roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots and a fruit salad for afters. Getting hungry just thinking about it!

Might not be back on today but I do plan to be busy flying in between cooking....I've already done the bathroom from top to bottom....think I'll strip the beds next, then do a HHC in the kitchen and lounge. We will be tidy this week!!!!

aj yes its lovely here too - I will be outside after lunch - makes a lovely change!

thats lunch past so i will go and hang out 2 loads of washing and then sit in the sun for a while - it is really nice here today.

will create a list later - this week is turning a bit manic!
