However, the iphone is HSPDA compatible and I believe that's only supported on the Vodafone network so you'll get faster data from the Vodafone network - Can someone confirm whether this is true or not?

I know that HSPDA is supported for non iphones on o2, and as the OH has just gone out I can't check the status of their iphone!

Lucky, that's strange. Maybe they upgraded their network but a year or 2 ago it was only Voda using HSPDA..

Saying that Voda's 3G network is a lot better than O2's anyway.. Shame about their heavy limits on usage

Apple aren't too bad with first releases.. usually only 1 or 2 bugs.. I'll be going for one straight away so I can get out the contract sooner :p

I'm waiting to see the PAYG prices :D

I have never wanted an iPhone before...but I want that one!
I can't actually say anything, I'm speechless looking at the specs....
Android and HTC have a LOT to do to catch up with that!

Tbh if it is released PAYG same time as contract I'll go with PAYG - I can afford the one off payment and saving the extra £20 a month on the 24 month contract will be better....

But I doubt it will be... :(

o2 were actually the first to introduce HSPDA coverage in Europe, however that was "only" in the Isle of Man in 2005. I think it went UK wide at the beginning of 2008 if I recall correctly.

I have been using it on my last two phones no problem at all.

Fair enough - Thanks for clearing that up :)

Will have to wait to see about pricing then
