I'm a little confused with my 3 contract- I got my iphone 4 32g on day of release from Apple shop and signed up for 24 months 900 mins etc.. so £35 a month

A bill has come and a seperate letter stating detals of my contract 900 mins 5000 texts 1gb data £23 a month including £3 discount, I was an existing 3 customer but I'm sure this wasn't/isn't recognised anyway- Anyone else had this?

So my first bill to be taken by dd for the period 24 June to 31 July is £24.50!

My local Tesco are still saying it is out of stock. They expect their next delivery first week in Aug at the earliest! I've left my number for them to ring me when they get them but I was at the bottom of a very long list. If they're only getting 4 at a time it'll be ages before it's my turn.

I only wanted to go with Tesco cos they are offering a 12 month contract, at this rate I should've gone with Orange on an 18 month...!

    Hi Dolfan,

I'm in the Gloucestershire area - I had a phone call from the Evesham store yesterday to say they had 4 in (1 left) and as I was 45mins away I was unlikely to get it. But they said that the other phone shops in the area should be getting them that day (yesterday) as well so I went to my nearest one (Cirencester - Still 30mins away) and they hadn't had them in yet. I waited about 2 hours while doing the weekly shop but they still didn't have them and they said if they didn't arrive today they may be getting them in overnight so to get there 8am this morning when they open. I did that, and was able to get one of the 4 they had in overnight.

Apparently they were being delivered from Middlesbrough - Not sure if that's any help? It's really hit and miss with Tescos. They say they only have them in stock at stores, but then a few people on Wednesday managed to get them over the phone from their call centre, they've all sold out now but again they're "hoping to get some in soon" - Though no hints at timescales.

Hope that's of some help to you, I've been frustrated all week trying to track one down but chuffed that I've finally got one. It's worth the wait!

I have just seen the T-Mobile costs for iPhone, and goodness they are terrible! Read on the t-mobile forum that they are not even offering the usual discounts as incentive to stay with them - if you go for an iPhone!

My question to anyone with the iPhone on Tesco. Do you get fast 3G connections and download speeds? I have heard that with T-Mobile you have to buy an extra package to get full speed!

I do hope you are not actually being serious with you abuse towards people using slang terms on the internet? Fanboi is a word in use across many forums and sites, it now also has an entry in the Urban Dictionary. It is increasingly seen being used in relation to Apple products.
However, just in case you are being serious, I have reported you for abuse. I feel it was unnecessary for you to question a person education for using slang on the internet, even in jest.

Get a life and stop trying to police the use of the English language.

    Just for you - ROFLCOPTER

    Had a nice chat with T-Mobile upgrades and found out the following;
They have no date for the release of the iPhone.
The prices quoted on the website are for new and existing customers (so no upgrade discounts here). Sadly though this is expected, as no other operators are offering upgrade paths.

I was also told that I could get an iPhone 3GS as an upgrade. I was also informed that other than the flash, there was no difference between the 4 and the 3GS. Being ever so polite I refrained from laughing at the person on the other end of the phone!

There is nothing wrong with somebody trying to promote the use of the English language correctly.

Not everybody wishes to speak using the language from the "Urban Dictionary" or in Panoir.

Maybe if people used the English language more this country would not be in the state it is in.
Again. lol. I agree, there is nothing wrong with promoting the correct use of the English language. The problem was the way it was done. People do not have the right to abuse others because they choose to use slang. Remember there is a big difference between the use of slang and having a poor grasp of the Language. Also, our language is ever evolving, wether you like it or not, and that is what makes it great.

Now off you go and preach the use of the English language to that group of kids on the street corner, all using slang, wearing hoodies and abusing grannies. I know you will not have the shield of anonymity you enjoy here, but hey. Let me know how you get on :)

Really, so the several hundred dyslexic scientist and engineers who put a great deal into the uk but still manage to submit written work that is semi legable are ruining the UK? What about me, I am Manx, I was taught english and Manx (yes the small 'e' was deliberate) on equal footing, am I a cause of the state of the UK? Language is an evolving medium of cummunication, the english language today is a lot different to the english language of say 1850 or 1600, both of which modern english scholars would struggle to read and I dare say in 100 years time our version of the language will be equally as illegable, even more so as the digital age has meant evolvement has accelerated. Just as very bad use of the language has no real place so the same can be said of ludites who impare development for the sake of tradition.

Just been playing with a colleagues iPhone 4. It just feels so much better than the Android alternatives. And I hate that, as I am one of the biggest anti-Apple fanboi activists out there!
Surely it is whether not wether or are you talking about how hot it is and got that wrong as well
Really, that was the best you could do? Pick on the spelling mistake of a dyslexic (yes I am one of them, good innit). I am the first to admit my spelling is terrible. Sadly I forgot to run that through the spell checker before I posted it. I try to do that every time, to stop people using spelling or grammar as an excuse not to write proper, well thought out responses. Still I applaud your smugness.

Quote semi legable are ruining the UK

    Legible not legable
If all you can manage to what is said is a minor pedantic comment then I guess the outlook is dire.
I wont comment on your attitude to those who make mistakes in spelling or grammar, but I do know how to spell it, it is 'A N A L' I believe.
