I'd always fit one, no matter how carefull you are eventually it will end up in a pocket with a set of keys.

i always end up doing that
keys and change on one side
    phone on the other
then one day you forget and.............

I admit 300hrs may be a bit off and no one is going to not use their phone for 12 days but to say it struggles just over a day is laughable, I have also used it heavily(browsing phone calls etc..) and still had 40% the following day.

Well i completely drained mine yesterday then completely charged it last night (took it off charge about 12 last night )and its now got 40% battery left and thats with the wifi switched off, 3g switched off, manual emails, brightness turned to minimum and i've only had two one minute calls all day.
So it is not laughable when i say it struggles to last the day its the truth unfortunately

The biggest disappointment with iphone 4 for me is catching good signal. I am currently with iphone 3GS and has an awful signal reception. My friend sitting next to me with the same provider's sim will have 2 bars on his nokia phone while my iphone is searching for signal.

iPhone 4 has done nothing to improve that i suppose and looks like it is even worse compared to the previous models.

Sorry with the vast amount of Iphone4 messages I don't know if this has been published yet, if not a warning if ordering on Orange where they are showing black iphone4s as available.

I ordered one and was asked online to choose a delivery time - tomorrow morning I chose. All went swimmingly (with the exception of Tesco Mastercard turning the payment down for no reason other than it was online and an iphone). I rang Orange to sort this out and was told, I could go ahead with this but it wouldn't be tomorrow morning, instead probably 7 to 10 days, as they were just showing available to process the waiting list of customers and they didn't have any for new customers. I wonder when they would have told me this if I hadn't had to call them.

So no iphone tomorrow and looking for a provider who offer what they actually have/do. Is this possible?

On the plus side it can be cancelled at anytime up until I get a call to arrange delivery - or is this false too?

I would say there is a problem with your handset then as a few friends also have the ip4 and have also reported good battery life. Take it to the genius bar if you have one near you and see what they say.

As jimx26 says, sounds like your phone has a fault.

I would try backing it up and resetting the device (this is what Apple may do). When you reconnect to iTunes it will restore your phone.

Also, do you have many applications open? Click the home button twice and it will show all the applications that you have 'running'. I say 'running' because they don't run in the same way as a computer but they could have an effect on the battery.

Does anyone know when 3 will be releasing the iphone 4?

I can upgrade from this saturday, but dont want to be waiting for months for it to come out.

The Mod on Three's official blog mentioned that they had 600 handsets which were pre allocated to those who registered online before the 20th June and were in their upgrade window. Those who registered after and in the their upgrade window were in the second phase, the mod refused to comment when the 2nd batch of handsets were expected.

Others have asked whether if they took out a new contract at an Apple Store if they could transfer there number across and then cancel existing Three contract if it had reached its minimum contract term. The mod said it was possible but fell short of actually says yes it can be done.

I would take that with a pinch of salt, nobody I know has had a problem with the sensor.
