Argh I clicked on buy monthly iPhone and it doesn't link to a page where you can buy iPhone 4. They haven't updated it yet. Come on Tesco!

Oh, and come on England! :D

IMO Tesco's are cheaper as their billing is practically primeval! I asked them how I could work out how much data I was using each month and this was their response...........

I am sorry that you are unsure of your GPRS usage for last month.

I have looked into your account and I can see the total amount of usage showing on your bill is 75:35. Unfortunately, our system currently shows your internet usage as volume, rather than how much data you have actually used. This will hopefully be resolved shortly, but in the mean time we have a way of working it out.

We take the figure which is shown before the colon, which in this case is 75, multiply this by 60 and then divide this by 1024. Then we add the figure after the colon to work out the number of mb’s you have used this month.

So for this month you have used:

    75 x 60 = 4500
    4500 / 1024 = 4.39453125
    4.39453125 + 35 = 39.39453125

Roughly, you have used around 39MB of data. I do apologise for the current way to work it out, but I assure you that this will soon be changed.

I hope this information helps and if I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to email me.

I'm suprised they managed to keep a straight face when they typed that! :o

They've got the prices but the pages they link to do not contain the iPhone 4 yet (either PAYG or Pay Monthly). Grrr!

The PAYG link to Tesco Direct does show the new 8GB 3GS but it has been all morning.

it doesnt seem to link to the mobile shop

i jsut got this mail from voda

    Hello Gabby

Here's some exciting news - you'll be able to order your iPhone 4 at Vodafone on Thursday from 7am. And don't worry, we'll send you a reminder email to let you know when you can order online, in store or over the phone on 08080 022 003. Don't forget that if you want to bring your phone number to Vodafone you'll need a valid PAC code from your current supplier.

    X

Keep an eye out tomorrow morning for our reminder email, which will have the following subject line: 'Apple iPhone 4 - order yours at Vodafone now'.

why do i need a reminder email when they jsut said i can order from 7am?

Looks like its linking to the pay monthly site, but then the iPhone 4 isn't on that site. Well done Tesco, making it nice and easy for us. Hopefully it will be fixed tonight, will then try ordering on line and pop to the store tomorrow, if they have them then I can cancel the online order.

Just spoken to Vodafone asking to cancel and get my PAC code. The first thing the operators said was that Vodafone's deals weren't out yet!!!! Do these companies not communicate with their employees or what. Useless.
