Okay, so homework three, one to concentrate on. Hmm...I haven't got the mental focus for Fitness, so I think I'll go with Fun/Hobbies as this has been highlighted these past two weeks when OH has been away/working/playing cricket.
Worse senarios is now, I'm bored and getting more stressed with everything else because I have no outlet.
No idea what to do to fix it though...

I'm exactly the same Gemmzie, DH gets really mad with me because I just slope around the house being miserable because I'm bored and have no idea how to make it better! I tried making jewellery (thought it would a keep me occupied and b maybe make me some dosh) but guess what? I got bored....

    Hello everyone

Oh poop, I seem to have missed out on so much, although I have been reading. What is this wheel of life and homework that everyone is talking about? Sounds like fun, but I can't find the posting. As regards to spirituality, I like to spend a good deal of time at the beginning and the end of the day reflecting, making plans, assessing how far I've come and where I'd like to be. I like and need that alone me time, does that count?

I need to refocus. I'm really keen on people empowering themselves, I'm yet to find my niche in what job suits me, but I really enjoy some of the stuff I have studied in Human Geography. I don't know it's just like everytime I read an article or book or see something on the tv, I become really enthusiastic. And for geek credits, I'd love to go on one of those storm chaser holidays in America, that would be awesome. I think it just puts everything into perspective. Here we are driving around in tin cans going to our jobs, worrying about money etc etc, and the power of nature just shows us how really that we are tiny ants on this huge planet, and all this stuff is just what we do to occupy ourselves day to day. Mother nature could wipe us all out if she wanted to, which puts some of the worries into perspective sometimes. Is that a bit deep? I don't know, but I do ponder these things sometimes.

Oh wow thrifty fifty, that is one of my dreams too- to go on a stormchaser holiday in the states! It is one of my ambitions in life to see a tornado! I know exactly what you mean- humans tend to think we are so important and indestructible but we are nothing against the power of nature...

I think it's a really good idea to take time out every morning and night to assess yourself, these are the times when our minds are most receptive to suggestion. I am trying to get up a little bit earlier in the mornings to work on stuff!

I've decided that I'm going to cycle to work. I used to love the time either walking or cycling where you could zone out to an extent and have a real inner conversation with yourself. I suppose it is like reading a book really, where you slip briefly into another world? Also the exercise will make me lose weight, and help me to sleep well at night too. The only hurdle-I haven't been all that active in the last two years, and it's a 16 mile round trip. Oh well, I'm sure I'll do it.

    :)

Thrifty Fifty, why not spend two or three weekends getting used to cycling again and building up your stamina and then start the cycle to work

Wise words Dragon. All that in one day? I'll probably land in a heap in some hedge somewhere. Ooh I could take a bottle of vino and turn it into a picnic. He, he :p
