    ok homework

i want you to go back over your list and really think about where you want them to be

so after you have figured out where you want each bit to be ... figure out why it isnt there ... what is stopping you from getting there.... what is in your way ? and are they all connected? is it similar things that are stopping you each time? do you really need to sort everything out or just the one and then the rest will fall into place?

:eek::eek::eek::eek: - I only just got my original homework done! Okay will try and do this one later or tomorrow morning :D

Don't worry - I'm behind too... So much to think about AND earn my pennies too, lol! I got interrupted with my wheel on the train this morning. And I need to discount the immediate niggles from my overall feeling about the areas of my life - today for example I have been hassled by the big-shots at my synagogue, but discounting that, my spirituality score would be v high. So, discount, discount is the key... (and not just in the shops!;))

Dragon - my OH is interested in Paganism. As am I, but at a bit of a remove (can you have a Pagan Jew, i wonder...:rotfl:)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have come across Buddhist Jews and Buddhist Quakers before now. My take (I think) is as long as it works for you and doesn't harm anyone else, then it's all good.

My grandmother is now spinning like a top in her grave, no doubt... sorry bubbe!

Yes indeed! I'm a mixed bag myself, but the pull to my family roots was too strong to ignore. I looked at Buddhism, the Quakers and some other areas, but they didn't quite do it for me in the end. Not that I believe everything about being Jewish, of course. But then it is part of the religion to question, question and question some more.

Which is probably why I am agonising over my Wheel!!! Still, it's definitely a good journey to embark upon:T

    Health/Fitness - 2 want it to be an 8

Okay the main thing that I can do with this is listen to the doctors and get my thryoid sorted out!! Once that is in hand I can start losing weight and then other bits of health should start slotting into place

    Growth/Learning - 7 want it to be a 9

Okay I HAVE the cd’s, the books, the kit I need to knuckle down and do something with them! The first stage could be to listen to my “Teach yourself Welsh” cd whilst I stitch?

    Career/Business/Work - 5 want this to be an 8

I need to start using my day at home like a work day - so start at 9 in the morning and stitch until lunchtime, break for an hour, then work on the book or the stitching and stop around 6pm when OH gets home.

    Money/Finance - 5 want this to be a 10

Well don’t we all LOL - actually I need to try and pay stuff off faster AND get some savings behind me, the easiest way to do that would be to not go out BUT that impinges on my social relationships and my health (self esteem) - so much as I would like to clear this one uber fast, I will have to settle for slow and sure.

    Family/Friends/Social Relationships - 7 want this to be a 9

Contact my parents more regularly and see about meeting my friends once a month or more

Community - 6 want this to be an 8

Not sure what else I can do on this so this is on hold

    Spirituality - 8 want this to be a 10

I need (for myself) to give more to this - the first stage is to get meditation going again, not only general mediation but meditation on either a single Tarot card or a single rune (I have the Tarot but no runes have “spoken” to me yet! So maybe one thing is to find some of those)

Okay not everything needs a change at the moment and some things can only change over time - but this gives me a starting point at any rate (thank you Elantan :D)
