    What a great thread!
Picking lots of salad leaves...noticed the hanging tomato plants flowering like mad....the smell of the freshly mown grass ..and yes! the little applets on the tree, a promise of apple pies, chutney and enough to store for the winter

What a lovely thread, it'll definitely become another favourite :). I do like the threads where everyone is happy. Watching the mogs laying on the path on their backs fast asleep in the sun, and uncovering a little patch of lilies of the valley :D when pulling up a clump of that horrid sticky weed down the side of the garden shed.

We had our first lettuce from the garden today! I also filled 2 growing bags with home made compost and found some cucumber seedlings sprouting.

Everything in my garden makes me smile - the flowers on my tomatoes, courgettes and strawberries, the salads i planted last week that have sprouted already, the 20 minutes peace and quiet i have out there every morning before work and every evening after work that keeps me sane :)
And my second year of growing my own veg so already reaping the benefits of learning from my mistakes!

Discovering a new dove nesting in a tree above the chicken run. She looks so peaceful. Probably unaware the last inhabitant was murdered by decapitation by a bird of prey. Still the tree has leaves now so hopefully she wont be seen.

    Such a nice thread. :)

Lots of things in my garden are making me smile. My Tumbler tomato has the start of 4 trusses!

Making my first cup of tea in the morning and seeing my lovely new greenhouse with all my plants in.

I'm finally getting more birds in the garden. As well as the goldfinches we now have great tits, blue tits, starlings and a rather dippy wood pidgeon!

We saw a hare last night, loping across our front garden.

    And lots more....
 Mummy to an amazing little girl
