Great thread! The passion flower in a pot that I thought was done for after that winter is today showing some signs of life :)

Going home for lunch & being greated by my 2 lovely doggies & my garden that is so full of life, sunshine, colour & fast food lol, yummy I love it.
Today I noticed that the campanulas I grew from seed 2 years ago are off & flowering like mad, I've moved them so I can see them from inside.
& the birds have made immediate use of the bird table I made last night, no doubt keeping the dogs entertained for the day too

Oh and its Friday, thank goodness

Just noticed hazelnuts size apples on the apple tree.... gladioli coming up fast now .... talking to the cat while pottering around :) ... I love unwinding in the garden, it's so therapeutic!

After illness and a horrible winter, I spent three weeks digging up the building site disaster of the garden. Now whenever I look out the window I can see my beautiful, pretty edible garden! The rescued grape vine is full of potentials, and there's a courgette almost ready for picking! Can't help but grin lots.

That made me smile pooiewn :D as did everyones elses smiles.

I had another smile when I was out picking my salad leaves to go with my dinner tonight (homemade chicken & potato curry mmmmmmm!) as I now have small leaves on my beetroot to go with my salad. And I have this evening pottering around in my garden, planting my new Potentilla 'Mango Tango' and generally feeling the stresses of the day just melting away. Oh and the Chelsea Flower Show to watch on telly later. Life is good :D

Was it the front cover, Page 3 or the horoscopes? ;)

LOL actually it was the sun in the sky beaming through my bedroom window... loving this thread so positive, had lots of smiles today... repotted my 4 courgette plants into big pots... had a great big fat frog sitting in the sunshine in my garden...... got a compost bin ordered for £15 with a council subsidy...lovely walk with my dogs... salad from my window boxes for lunch...gave away a TV on freecycle...what a good life, never been poorer but never been happier :j
