It was discovered yesterday, but I found a solitary bluebell hidden amongst 2 large domed hebes, and the single flowered peony which came up which I never knew existed til this year has now burst into one large red flower and I must say it looks amazing. Lovely to have discovered it. Oh also the little green raspberries forming behind the flowers are getting bigger and bigger each day. Oh and found 2 more sets of flowers on the largest tomato plant. I could go on for a long timeAhhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0

There's a right racket going on in one of the bird boxes, just near my veg patch.
I've just watched my son tip-toeing around the raised beds so as not to disturb the new chicks.0 -

What a lovely thread! The thing that made me smile this morning was watching mr and mrs chaffinch bringing their babies down to the pond for a bath and paddle n the waterfall, also noticed buds on my courgettes that i grew from seeds all very exciting and i could just feel the stress ebbing awaySometimes not moving backwards is as much an achievement as moving forwards is on other times. It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!0 -
me, dd (11) and ds (4) eating peas straight from the pod as a pre-lunch snack this morning
and finding that two of my strawberries are bright red with only a teeny patch of green on them. i reckon 2 more days and they'll be ready for eating!0 -
Well it's most days really. I just love the smell of my hands after checking over my tomato plants. It just gives me that summer feeling.0
