Today I went into the garden and saw that my mangetout are starting to flower.
Then went to check my small veg plot and noticed small shoots from the onions, carrots and garlic.
I cannot believe what joy I have been getting from my garden. I did try last year to grow a few beans and tomatoes but it did not turn out that well. Now I am addicted.

A dark purple poppy (not patty's plum, more...blue and less faded). Gloire de Dijon rose first blooms out. The new baby chick being paraded around by its two, yes two mothers (we are a liberal household). Less smile, more hope, leaving the dozen incubator chicks out of the broody coop unsupervised for the first time. They are bigger than quail now, but still babies.0
