All my plants make me smile but can I add another garden occurrence please.
The sight of 8 baby long tailed tits sitting on one branch of an ash tree in my garden, filled my heart with joyEspecially one little chap who kept cuddling up to his brother all the time

It is amazing. It is the first thing that I want to do in the morning - After the school run that is!!!!
I never imagined that I would get so much enjoyment out of my garden at all. We left it as mud for 3 years before pulling out our finger and turfing it.
Now I must have getting on for thirty pots (actually probably more) down one side of the path. All growing vegs and fruits. Also a small veg plot at the bottom near the shed and a area dedicated to beans and peas which I particularly love.
My greenhouse has seedlings coming along and it is not just me who loves it either my children are loving seeing seeds pop up and peas starting to flower.
This is the life ---- As my 4 year old DD would say!:j0 -
Its magic, like finding treasure isnt it? I always thought that when I dug up potatoes. Makes you believe in a greater power giving you these things (does me anyway

It made me smile today when my little un said "let's go and have a look at the plants daddy!" I was very impressed. I walk with her around the garden everyday to see what we can see or find. My cotoneaster flowers are starting to turn into berries and my cotoneaster cornubia trees are no far off flowering - they look great and I cannot wait for them to flower.0
