Some times I get so angry at myself ... Last night we had "friends" visiting .... They brought their two kids with them ... The kids ran mental all over the house disrespecting everything ... The parents not bothering their backsides as some parents do .... They broke things they lost things etc and I but my lip .... My head was totally bursting with it all but I bit my lip ... We had agreed before they came that they would buy the food and cook as we had done so the last time .... So I waited and waited no sign of anything forthcoming .... so I said right we need to get fed ... Went shopping and landed up spending just less than £40 for one meal... Don't get me wrong it wasn't all for the meal... She also bought things to take home .. But I was left to pay for it all ... Then cause basically both of them are nutters and desperate like an idiot I said come over some time without the kids I'll do some nlp for u ... Cause basically I hate to see people suffering ...

Then today I looked round the house and my hall Walls that literally a couple of weeks ago cost me a fortune to decorate are wrecked with dirty marks ( from the kids) I will need to redecorate again

I get so angry with myself sometimes cause I didn't stop it ... I allowed it to continue ... Totally raging with myself I am

And that was all written on the stupid iPhone .... Good luck understanding it
  • Aww El no wonder you are mad- i would be hopping mad and i appreciate you don't want to hurt your friends feelings, but she had no right to inflict her poor excuse for parenting on you and not apologise. I hope that you can explain to her how you feel, i think it is added stress on top of your recent stress of burgalry and just getting straight as well. Big hugs ((((xx))))

in good news front .... i paid £20 off of the student loan ... and i sneaked a wee cheeky £20.95 into the mortgage ... cant pay the other debt that i just remembered off any faster as it is one of those credit agreement thingys were you have to pay it all off .... its interest free so i aint really in a hurry

have spoken to son (who is now living with us) and we have came to a start of an understanding about things we will not accept ... money etc ... he will be paying £100 a month dig money plus £60 a month for gas and electricty and food will be discussed on a weekly basis ... we will sit down and organise what we will be eating for the following week and dividing it all up equally ... it works out much cheaper for him than paying £400 plus per month rent £150 plus per month council tax and gas and electricity and food ... but it also helps us out as well ...

i have decided the extra £160 a month will go towards the mortgage ... that is my biggest debt just now so i really would like it gone

I can understand you wanting to internalise the anger-don't. Stop and think that everything you have done for her has been heartfelt and at the end of the day she is the one who has to live with her problems and those kids..lollll she seems to be the one who has some life lessons to learn:eek: So plan, get rid of scuff marks- try some white bread on them and see if they come off- if so problem solved. The money spent on food- well just treat it as another meal out and so a minor loss. Move forwards to think- you did your best, you offered a helping hand and walk away. You needn't go along the same path as her- and from where i am standing it is definitely her loss not yours. How can you lose when you have such a generous nature? x

you is such a sensible bob ... thanks for getting me to see it more in perspective

i know i will look at it that way sooner rather than later .... but i need to put into plan how i am going to ensure it doesnt happen again ... white bread on scuff marks never heard of that one before ... might go buy me a loaf

Yep it is a tried and tested remedy on wallpaper-if it is paintwork well allsorts work on that one.

Plan for future- go and sit at hers and wait for dinner while her kids run amok around her house and comment loudly how long it took you to get the marks off your newly decorated walls and so glad you came to hers instead - then say what's for dinner as you are skint from paying last time so it had better be good-cos you have been living off beans on toast :) Do you think there is enough guilt in that one- to grab her attention?;)
