it surely is kc .... We even brought food with us as well ...oh we did spend a bit of that on diesel ( forgot about that bit) but it's mainly been food Ginger and alcohol ( I don't drink alcohol though just hubby) ... Today we had two coffees and a scone that cost us £8 how obsurd is that ? Then we had Chinese takeaway ( you can take the man away from home but you can't change his cravings lol) that came to over £11 it all seems to mount up ... Think I will need to sit down with pen and paper and try to see where it has all went cause it is annoying the hell outa me just now

I found in Glastonbury there were alot of people cashing in on the place ... Did anyone else think that ? One shop was selling a crystal d1ldo I meanlike !!!!!! is that all about ?

I think I became very disalusioned ( sp) with it all tbh

It's about putting something where the sun don't shine. And letting the sun shine...

If people didn't buy, they'd soon stop selling.

As with so many things which are "reactions" and "alternatives" to the current mode of thinking - the money grabbers sharp move in and poison the well. Then move on to something else.

At least it's not *plastic* tat...

They won't be vulnerable. Truly vulnerable people usually have no money. This is trying to cash in on people who believe money and objects fill empty lives.

Two wise comments from Z, about the sun shining :) and who's vulnerable and who's not.... El, I didn't realise it had got like that, I haven't been to Glastonbury for a while - there was a lot of tourist tut when I was there, but obviously things have deteriorated.

Anyway, put it out of your head - the Eden Project!

If you're still in the Glastonbury area, the Clarks discount village at Street is good for bargain hunting.

A place to visit near there is Wells, with the Cathedral, the Bishops Palace and the oldest street in England, where the cathedral staff and choristers used to live.
