hi that's really not a bad number with the mortgage factored in.
i can understand the guarentor bit, my dad was asked to be one for his son's mortgage, he agreed and then for whatever reason it never happened, it turned out to be a blessing though as his son paid not even one mortgage payment and my dad would have ended up being responsible for the whole thing.
Not that i think your son would do the same thing i hasten to add.

Hi el - just caught up. You sound like you've had it pretty rough... Hope the diet goes well and gives you the results you want.

I definitely wouldn't be spending a fortune on meals out if you are not even enjoying the food....

My ACE score would be 4or5 - I am a size 18 so that was interesting reading patchwork...

today i will be buying my third breadmaker ... our son borrowed the second one and between moving house so many times in the last year he has lost it ... i am taking the money for it from the money we owe him for his laptop ... cause i am determined i aint paying for another one

went into the organic shop in mollinsburn yesterday they didnt have much at all ... was very disappointed tbh ... but went to morrisons and found stuff which was organic and it was alot cheaper but they dont do much organic fresh produce ... so i aint too sure what i will do in that situation just now but i do think finding another supplier is gonna be part of it tbh

    Hi El

I've just caught up (almost) with what's been happening since I was away last week - I'm really glad you've got a holiday coming up too now, it sounds a really bad situation for you, one thing after another.

You're keeping on going! And sometimes thats all we can do, but you also sound like you're putting the building blocks for the future into place. Good for you.

    Thanks kc I am trying

I am so fuming right now .... The neighbour next door that hates trees decided to cut onenof theirs down ... They did it themselves and pulled off our guttering in the process .... Today I looked out the window and saw they had damaged the plum tree in the front garden as well .... There is a huge limb hanging off I will need to get it cut now don't know if I can save the tree or not .... They had asked us a few weeks ago if they could take the plum tree down as they don't like trees ... I know it was an accident but part of me realises they are happy about it ... The bit that I am soo angry about is they didn't even have the decency of telling me ... I am soooooo angry right now

Thats horrible! And they definitely need to pay for your guttering to be repaired.
