yesterday and today i have the guys fitting the new doors for me in the living room and the hall ... the ones that were damaged in the burglary ... they phoned up late monday night and asked if they could come over and do the work ... so i nearly have new doors ... it feels good to have that part finally done ... now just waiting on the cheque for the rest ...

we are into the overdraft big time so i think that will be the first thing the money will pay for

on the health front i have been doing more reading and need to try now and talk to a professional about reverse ozmosis water filters .... i dont think it is something i am going to go nuts over i.e take my own water everywhere and not use anyone else's ... but i think i might try and save up for one for myself in the house ... have seen them for less than £100 but want to talk to someone that knows something about them and which ones are good etc first i think

is there something about starting a spending diary that makes you spend more money?

have just had my eyebrows and upper lip waxed (£11) now i havnt had these done for atleast two years now but i just felt i needed them done today so off i toddled and have booked myself in for a hair cut for tomorrow as well .... ok the last time i had it cut was last august 11 months ago ... but that is more money that will need to go into the spending diary .... maybe i should do away with it ... life was much cheaper then

sometimes i just feel that when it comes to spending the plug gets pulled and until you fight it back into the bath tub you find that everything needs renewing/replacing.

I've spent money on clothes twice in the past month, yet previously hadn't spent much for the past few years.
It all seems to come round at the same time.

Lemon I think u make a very valid point .... I am the same I havnt spent money on my hair for a few years ( last year got it done for free at the local college because they messed up my class) but it has been needing cut for atleast the last two months ... My friend offered to dye it for me so I thought I should get it cut ... My lip has been needing waxed for longer but I don't wear makeup that often and it is only really noticeable when I wear makeup ... But today I was just like this is annoying me now so got it done

Worse than that I really need new bras my ones are grey stretched and have lost the underwire ... Now I have to be fitted everytime for a bra ( size 36hh) and they cost well in my opinion alot ... I tend to get very little change from £40 each and as I buy more than one at a time ( usually 3) it will cost me a fortune ... This time I am going for a sports bra I have been promised they have one that will fit me ( have been trying for ages ringer a sports bra that fits so I can run) as I want and need to start excercising again .... On the good news front however the shop I used to get them from have a sale on on Friday so I am going to get some newnones on Friday ... But the overdraft will have to go deeper still booger
