what does the apple cider vinegar do? i've got some but struggle with the taste of them and couldn't remember what they're good for.

apple cider vinegar is good for helping the body to get rid of fat cells ... and whilst finding out about fibroids i discovered that ... oestrogen is the main culprit of fibroids and oestrogen is stored in fat cells which is one of the reasons that fat women are more likely to have uterine fibroids than thin women .... so by taking apple cider vinegar every day along with losing weight it will help me reduce the fat cells that are in my body thus reducing the oestrogen in my body and slowly affecting the fibroids .... well that is the plan

    thanks taxi ...

well i have managed to come up with a couple of meals but i think i will need to do some more searching to get the amount i am after ... a friend that we are going camping with came over yesterday she was here for over 14 hours ... it was good to catch up ... she is also a relexologist and massage therapist (swedish and aromatherapy) so we got some oils organised for lymphatic drainage inflammation and pain relief and she showed hubby how to do a lymphatic massage ... i have informed him i need three a week ... i am soooo greedy lol

i have started with booking the colonic irrigations and got the stuff all sorted for cleansing the liver etc ....

so it is meal planning all the way tonight at work ... good job i am night shift this week

on debt front ... not doing too good we spent £200 that we didnt really have at the weekend on things for the garden and house but that should do us for as long long time now so i will have to sit down with the finances this week (night shift is gonna be a busy one) and try and sort them all out

So the black strap molasses .... I think it's just treacle by a different name ... There is no way I will be able to have 4 tsp a day ... Gonna start with one and up it to two as it's far too sweet for me

I have just stumbled across this diary as I have fibroids, too. I have just chickened out of a uterine fibroid embolisation op today. I am losing weight and have lost 31/2 stone in 2 years! Yes it is taking far too long.

Have you got a link to the site you found about the diet. I knew about the oestrogen which is worrying as my mum died of breast cancer, but she wasn't overweight. I have also been reading up on exercise being the best way to reduce oestrogen especially with weight loss. Now mum wasn't overweight, but hated exercise! So I am going to get on the exercise bike later, I am supremly unfit!!!

It looks like my fibroid might have not grown in the last year as I had an ultrasound in feb 2009 and it was 5 cm and MRI in march 2010 and it was 5.2cm. As ultrasounds aren't that accurate and MRI's are the gold standard I would say I hope it has stopped growing. I do have awful problems though and on heavy nights have to wear tena pants!Sorry TMI I have PCOS which means insulin resistance too etc.

Would like to join you on the lose freddy fibroid front.
