don't forget my wedding invite when you meet the man of your dreams through Midsummers !!

    lol :)

expect a strike out rate of at least 5 out of 6, they are often fatter/older/uglier/needier/smellier etc than profile/picture suggests , I found a minimal one drink and "sorry this is not right for me" and do a runner works or get a friend to ring you after 10 minutes so you can decide if you have to "leave urgently unexpectedly"

bloke has mailed back to say of course he won't go to weekend away, so that's a worry less.

my mate had a policy of meeting people for coffee at lunch hour but was once scuppered by saying she had the day off early in the conversation and when the drooling beast before her showed no signs of moving, she prompted about going back to the office only to hear the dreaded word...

    "flexitime!"

So that's another one to watch :D

Coffe at lunch time is how I met my OH through dating direct - he looked like the most unstylish and nerdy wee fella you could hope to meet, but one frappucino later, and I was hooked - I didn't get home till after midnight that night as we went for drinks then dinner after the initial coffee - My major tip, is don't do a runner straight away just cos of how they look - I fancy the pants of my OH now he's bowed to my more stylish ways!!!

  • I'd agree on don't do a runner straight away - When i met my bf he was drunk and annoying - he told me i was beautiful 25 times - nice at first but gets a bit annoying - left him too it but we had exchanged numbers before

then i thought he was "too nice" - but I gave him a chance and it all worked out

When I look at pictures of my OH from when we first met, I cringe...literally! I don't know if it is the unkept beard and hair or the tight pullovers with the weird patters that he used to wear

    Obviously I saw potential:rolleyes: :rotfl:

  • Hi, I'd just like to say that I met my bloke on an internet dating site - dating.com

I only replied to two blokes, chose to meet my fella and the rest is history!! I've never been so happy and am actually not ashamed to introduce my boyfriend to friends and family (this is a bigggggg thing for me!!!):j

Anyway, we now live together so we're proof internet dating does work.

    good luck
