On Saturday, though, I'm going skydiving. August bank holiday weekend is often busy, so I can make some extra money packing rigs. Enough to pay for my jumps, hopefully, with a little left over for some meths in the evening.0

If he can't afford to upgrade to Buckfast, there's no hope....
Feeling MUCH stronger this morning. My girly friends are all fab.
So I will NOT have a £100 dvd buying splurge in town today... even though the shop is right next door to my agency....Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -

This is where the meths comes in handy. Stand near me for twenty minutes and you'll have inhaled enough for a whole evening's worth of drinks.
Moneysaver tip: Soak your cravate in meths before you go out on the town. You won't buy nearly so many drinks.0 -
Ok.. well... it's not a very money saving breakup!
1) Spent £130 on clothes last night!! However, did go mad in Tesco not House of Fraser-so got
-leather shoes
- jeans
-long demin skirt
-work trousers (mathes a jacket I bought)
- 5 sensible tops
-2 flirty tops
- 2 sets earrings and necklace
So I think it's not a*terrible* splurge
I also joined the suggested midsummer eve dating site. I like it because
- you can take part in no pressure informal non dating related chat rooms
- you can post a profile and send up to 5 messages a day at no cost
- you can find just friends of either gender as well as b/fs
- I have had 2 very nice welcome messages from nice blokes. Live too far away, but they're still nice
In other news..
- have dropped 5 pounds. Think I will have to start consuming something other than slimfast and orange juice today
- have emailed ex to ask him NOT to go to an event we were both going to with mutual mates in October. He's had loads of weekends away while I have been job hunting and I deserve the break more. Full marks to me for not having a face to face over it, will he be decent enough to stand down?? Otherwise I've wasted £250 on flights and room...Debt free 4th April 2007.

B*gger that. Don't lose the money! Go and enjoy yourself WITHOUT reference to him. Ignore him where possible if he is there, and be fabulous (as we know you are). If you change your plans for him, it shows that he still has power over you.Emmzi wrote:- have emailed ex to ask him NOT to go to an event we were both going to with mutual mates in October.
