tbh I thought it was quite funny, it was a bit like a cartoon fall, as my feet were sliding back and I was scrambling to stay upright, so it was almost like I was running on the spot, and then I just slid down onto my knees! Then I couldn't get my feet back under me, so I had to take my shoes off to stand up!! :rotfl:It's a really friendly department, so I didn't get teased TOO muchLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

Sorry, I did have to laugh at the image of you falling over after trying to delay the inevitable by running on the spot! :rotfl:Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

Afternoon Diary
Busy weekend doing not much, lots of relaxingWatched the last ep of MadMen on Friday night. can't wait for the new series to start, hope we get it a bit sooner now Sky have bought it off the BBC. I *love* Don Draper, got to love a man who looks that good in a hat!
I had physio again on Saturday, so that made my back sore, and I somehow twisted it while walking downstairs yesterday, and now it's worse than everI almost didn't come in to work today, and now I'm here I wish I hadn't, as it's so sore I can't really concentrate. Am thinking I might take tomorrow off if it hasn't improved, or work at home (especially as it's our group christmas lunch tomorrow, and when I got the menu last week I found out it's £30 just for the food!! I wouldn't have agreed to go if I'd known that!)
Finally had our shed delivered on Monday, and when we looked at the instructions on Saturday we realised that we don't have all the tools, so now need to borrow a drill off someone for next weekend and the dining room is still full of stuff that should be in the shed!
Had a lovely day on sunday, family lunch for sister no2's 30th birthday! All sisters and nieces and nephew, so very crowded but lovely to be at home with everyoneHad lots of cuddles with niece no2 and nephew no1, and played with niece no1 a lot, she loves bossing all the aunties and uncles around (eg hide and seek - it's your turn to hide Auntie Jules, you go and hide in the bathroom and I'll come and find you! :rotfl:) Niece no2 has developed a hilarious cackle, she spent all afternoon grinning at people and then laughing for no reason :rotfl:
Anyway, better try and get on with some work, hope carshare wants to leave earlyish today.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
How is your back today hun?
Oh no at the snow slip, I so almost went over earlier as it's still icy at work....I kinda did that 'woah' jittery arm thing and my work mate almost wet himself laughing :rotfl:
Yay to finally having the shed, shame it's not the weather to be building it in!
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

Hi Ladies
I ended up being off sick yesterday, so I didn't make it to the lunch, apparently it was amazing food, and our group leader's wife (who also works in our group!) bought their lovely 3 month little girl wearing the jumper I made her, so I missed out on baby cuddles!
My back was so bad though, I don't think I could have coped with the 30 minute drive to the restaurant and back. Much better today after a day of relaxing yesterday (and no car journeys or desk chair, which seem to be the 2 worst things), plus managed to get lots of knitting done which is a bonus. Physio on Friday this week, so slightly dreading having to come into work afterwards, may take some stuff to work at home instead, so I can do things at my own pace.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Your back must be really starting to get you down now
Hopefully a nice long rest over Christmas, combined with the physio will help to see a big improvement xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Afternoon Diary
Not much to report today, DH out tonight and tomorrow for work christmas nights out, so will have a quiet one tonight, and then my best friend is coming over tomorrow for a girly night :j We've spent all morning debating what girly films to watch, and what dessert I should make :rotfl:
Almost finished little baby-GAP style hoodie for nephew (finally, I've been making it for about 6 weeks!). I just need to sew the hood together so I can knit the border, but when I went to get my pins and needles pot out last night it was gone! It's a mystery, I can't find them anywhere in the house *confused* will have to buy some more if i don't find them by the weekend, I have loads of mending waiting to be done as well as finishing all my knitting projects in time for Christmas!
Have physio again tomorrow morning, so will be WAH, as sitting at my desk isn't the best position. Luckily I have some reading to do, and I can do that on the sofaLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning Diary,
seems ages since I posted, can't believe it was only Thursday! Not much to report, back much much worse, keep getting strong jarring pains, so will be requesting a referral to a specialist. DH's stepmum has back problems and has recommended the consultant she sees, so will ask to be referred to him (DH dad is a doctor and reckons this guy is one of the best in the area) luckily my work Bupa will cover this, and I've already paid the excess for this year :T.
Nowt to report moneywise, pretty much skint until payday next week, but only 1 present and a few stocking fillers left to get before Christmas, and don't need petrol or groceries except a few loaves of bread.
We put up our tree last night, it looks so prettyfirst time we've had a real tree since we moved in together, the 33 year old artificial one we inherited from my family has finally been retired. We got a really good tree stand at homebase, would definitely recommend it if you don't already have one. Plus we got £10 off the tree for buying them together. Definitely an improvement on the old bucket and bricks my Dad used to use, the tree always ended up tied to the curtain rail by boxing day :rotfl:
Off to try and catch up with everyone else, not been able to sit at the computer over the weekend.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
