I am the same I signed up in July (we have a keypad), chased it up today only to be told that they have not sent my paperwork away to NIE yet!!! Not amused as they did not warn me of the back log when I signed up on the phone.
I now have to wait on a letter arriving to tell me when to contact NIE to get it sorted. All the while I'm not saving anything! Thought it would have been a quicker process.
Airtricity rang to say they are coming out tomorrow night to do our keypad. 6-7 weeks from when we signed up and roughly what the sales guy reckoned0 -
i switched back to NIE again i did not see a saving with airtricity0

You can pay by various means, but the maximum savings are with DD.
