before i found this diet side of life i was totally stressed about finance and politics here--i started my health kick and my stress level has reduced considerably--for the first time in my life i have actually stopped biting my finger nails--my wife now has to trim them!--its been a side affect of getting healthy and i know lots of execs use exercise to de-stress at my gymmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

i weighed myself on sunday and i was 75kgs and now on my 'official weigh-in day i am 74kgs so i have lost 2,2lbs in 3 days--i was 75kgs last wednesday and it suddenly went!
i have joined myfitness pal and been keeping to a property calorie count coupled with reduced exercise since sunday--i am actually eating more than before i started it so maybe i am letting my bmr do some of the work instead of slaving at the gym--myfinesspal not only counts calories it equates it all with your exercise so it is invaluable when you go a bit crazy at the gym like me!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -

Have had an op which has made me pretty inactive and now add a holiday in the cotswolds and that equals urgent need to get back on the diet/exercise wagonAm 39 in June and am determined to be "Thin and Forty" come my birthday in 2011!

Ooh can I join this one properly please, for the full 7lb.:j It probably sounds optimistic but I really want to get to about 8st 10 by the 16th August when we go to Centreparcs. I know it's no Monaco but I really don't think the Lake District is ready for my bare legs looking like they do...a week in a swimming costume...*shudders*
So I need to average at minimum 1.5 lb per week for the next 12 weeks. Have rejoined weightwatchers and am feeling v determined. Have been running and swimming too.
I've found the May thread really inspiring, just knowing that you are going to be accountable is incentive to behave in itself.

Morning all!
Room for a not-so-small one?
After a good few months of eating what I want when I want due to work stress I need to shift at least half a stone if not more like a stone.
I will start on Tuesday (1st June) after the bank holiday weekend - I have a family do tomorrow evening, lunch and drinks out with friends on Sunday and a day at home with OH on Monday so the 1st is a good time to get stuck in.
I'll weigh on Monday and take it from there.
