Great thread
I used to work as a dessert chef and had to make tons of cakes - so many that I got sick of them (made 7 two tier cakes most days in the middle of summer as we supplied them to a tea garden). Those were some long sweaty hours!
Carrot cake:
Chocolate:
Coffee:
a birthday cake:
Victoria sponge:
Lemon drizzle (my favourite one):
and a veg patch made from icing which was the decoration ontop of a cake lol:£2 Savers Club 2011 (putting towards a deposit) - £588

oooh my kind of thread :j
I love it when people have a go at homemade cakes.
I started doing them when I became a mummy 10 years ago and now I make cakes for all our family and friends and hope to make it a full time job when my youngest starts school.
