This little book is great

I was looking at it in WHSmith the other day. It's not much help to you right now, I know but it shows you step by step how to make the animals. There's bound to be a tiger in there that can be adapted to Tigger.
This series also do one for making flowers.

gluten and dairy free is a hard one to do, most people can get away with one or the other
i check-out this blog for inspiration, and she does have a vegan cupcake recipe - i havent tried it, but all other recipes i have tried of Karinas, have been a hit

I made a gluten & dairy free chocolate cake a few years ago using chickpeas!! It was lush and had loads of compliments. I don't have a recipe unfortunately but if you google it, you will find one.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Hi Ladies
Does anyone know the best cost effective place to buy disposable piping bags from?
Thanks

Hi, i buy mine from ebay personally, i find the blue larger bags the best for me as they are slightly more hard wearing and hold more. think its around £4 for 20 21" catering bags.

My first attempt at multi quoting so I hope it works!!!thanks> if I assemble the cake Thursday, do you think I will keep without being in the fridge as its not needed til Sunday.
I'd have thought it'd be fine....if you make cupcakes or butterfly buns with buttercream icing you don't have to keep them in the fridge so i'd think this should be the same.hi, does anyone buy fondant icing in bulk? if so where from please. i get it from the supermarket atm and it must be cheaper somewhere else.
Thanks
I get mine from my local sugar craft shop. I recently bought a 5kg box from my favourite shop and it cost me about £15. It might not work out cheaper than the supermarkets but its much nicer and I find it easier to work with.code-a-holic wrote: »Need some recipe help! The choc cake recipe on the back of one of the dove's gluten free flour bags (can't remember but I assume it's the SR one!) works really well.....would be worth trying it with soya marg instead of butter.0 -

i just use large press/zip lock sandwich bags - reinforce the corner with a couple of layers of clear tape, and then snip the corner. you can use a tip if you want, but you can achieve alot of different shapes, just by varying the shape you cut from the corner (as long as the bag is stiff enough)
Poundland have a box of 30 for you guessed it, a £1, and the quality is ok for general piping - but if i want sturdier bags sainsburys have a box of 20 for about £1.50
