Hi, i'm new to this thread. Looking for some advice. I wanted to make white chocolate chip cupcake with a raspberry frosting, but when i took them out the oven, the white choc had burnt. The cake was fine though. Any ideas? This has happened to me before with white choc muffins.

I have been baking alot recently, off work due to pregnancy hip pain. Last week i made coca cola cupcakes, which were amazing! only lasted about 2 days if that!:o

I have today, after being inspired by this thread, applied for a cake decorating course. It's about 40miles from where i live but it's being held on one day so it wont be that bad travel wise. I'm so excited i just hope i get on it.

Ok so i've blethered on enough. Everyones cakes look amazing, hope i can do some as nice. xxx

white chocolate burns at a lower temp than milk/plain choc, and also doesnt melt uniformally, so needs stirring to distribute the heat

ive never made muffins with choc chips, all the white choc muffin recipes i have, you add melted white choc to the mix - you still get the flavour, just not the chunks

Hi, maybe you'd be better off making taxpayer muffins with a white chocolate frosting? That way you don't have to put the choc in the oven

Ok you lovely bakers, I need some advise please.

I am making a wedding cake simular to below and wondered what size boards to use. Should I go for 1" or 2" bigger than the actual cake. Thanks

Has anyone tried cake pops? I made some for my boy's birthday and they were a lot easier to make than they look.
    Here's my effort

On www.bakerella.com there are loads of fab creations.

Have you used white choc or candy melts?
Was looking at the site and she says use chocolate bark, what is that? Your cake pops look brilliant, i cant wait to have a go at these think my DD would love them. Just need to find some of the lolly sticks.

I used White chocolate which I tempered, but I've ordered some candy melts to make some of the creations from the website.

I got the lolly sticks off eBay.
