Yikes - this week has been a bit wierd ... Anyway, we completed on our house today :T:T:T and will get the keys on Friday... so instead of living in a small 2 bed rented flat we will be living in a medium sized 3 story 3 bed house with 3 toilets :eek::eek:

    Only one oven though

Hope everyone is well... will catch up when I can (say that all the time I know!!) Hugs and kisses if you need/want them :)

I have recaptured my cat!! One of the neighbours had tried stealing Peaches so I have been and reclaimed her.. using 3 slices of luncheon meat a stick and a large slug!

My right foot is hugely puffy .. again.. so more sleeping with a foot on a pillow required! Baby lays heavily in my right side and restricts the venous blood supply causing oedema.. nothing panic worthy before you all have a chicken about high bp/pre-eclampsia etc.. :p .. of course it is helped by the sciatica and arthritis in my left leg..

Tesco shop done so we have food for at least a couple of days when the children are off school.. gannets that they are! That is all put away :D

I need to locate my juice and my cuppa.. I appear to have left them somewhere in the house.. could be anywhere knowing me!

I also found an almost fully knitted blue cardy in the loft so I shall get that completed for sproggit.. it should fit next summer lol.

Toots that was my list of medical appointments, the school, KIDS, hair, nail, vet and solicitors ones weren't included!! I honestly spend half my time trying desperatey not to disappear up my own existance as I meet myself coming back!

Ooohhhh... bloody Cracker just pee'd on the pushchair... it is now mopped up with his head!!! Dirty little git.. he needn't think he can be starting that game!

Good morning! It's quiet around here - which is a good thing as I'm feeling slightly, errrrrrrm, delicate :o Too late a night, a few sherbets, and the largest Baileys you ever did see  Beautiful food and great company though :T We're off shopping today (cyclingyorkie, I'll wave when we pass by your way  ) then out to a party tonight

Had text from OH's dd, it seems gs has chickenpox, he was ok yesterday....they are worried about how this might effect the 14 week old baby.

I caught chicken pox at 36 weeks gestation (from the chap covering my maternity leave :( ). I was terrified but the GP was very reassuring and said they once the baby is fully formed, there's miniscule risk :)

    Morning :)

How quiet has it been around here! All caught up by 9am on a Sat morning is unheard of for me :)

Am keeping my fingers crossed for you toots for your escape today.

It was a long day yesterday, Friday's are long anyway as it is late night closing plus the added factors of month end, bank hol round the corner and kids breaking up from school. We were a bit delayed getting out but not too bad but it did mean I missed Miss A's water polo match in which she scored a goal and the team won :D They are into the finals now so some good luck vibes in a months time would be appreciated please.

Usual swimming lessons here this morning and then need to get Miss A organised fr her Oakes trip, she is away Mon-Thurs.

Hugs all round and :bdaycake: for those birthdays I have missed this last few days.

Morning all, undercoat was done last night, then my mum called up for awhile which was lovely. Kitchen man didn't show so i'll have to keep on at him.
Need to get the glossing done today but it's raining here so kids will be in, it could be a complete disaster.

Toots big hugs and i hope your out of hospital soon.

Right i'm away to see what i can get done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

If he were here, he'd just have to sweep; it's chuckin' it down with rain...

The never ending saga of the replacement windows: part of the work will involve angle grinding the concrete away by the door to the balcony, so they can fit the new door including making the step to the balcony lower:eek:
and then someone else has to come and "make good" the areas around the windows:eek:
And it looks as if they will be with us a week on Monday by my calculations...:eek::eek:
No, it's OK, it'll be marvellous when it's finished. Then again, that's what they say about beating your head against a brick wal!:D

Hope y'all have an excellent Bank Holiday: hugs and healing vibes to those that want them - and I've replenished the basket of sticks to be thrown for the "black dogs" to declutter them from your house.:D
