Please dont feel obliged to answer but does £267 seem a lot for a water meter for 3 adults and a 3 year old please? only the baby baths we all shower and reasonably quickly i dont have a dish washer and on average do 2 loads of washing a day but it is a new washing machine so low energy etc, i find it nearly twice as expensive as last 6 monthly bill and just wondered if anyone else has almost doubled this year? back to the half hour ironing i promised myself eh !!!
    may groc challenge £167/£280...

Had an email from my lecturer at college with graduation details. I am hoping that means I have passed my MA, either that or it is a very sick joke. I have sent a cheeky email asking so hopefully I will hear soon

    Well done!!
    Fantastic!

Didn't know you were training to be a doctor:rotfl:

I thought that too!!:rotfl:I was impressed and thought you had kept it secret!

Ah, thanks for that, Poohbear.:) I shall wear something comfortable on my feet, and conserve my energy in that case, so as to be able to hobble round on my sticks if need be, as it's something I'll find really interesting.:)

There are a lot of steps to get up to some of the gardens but I found a meandering path around the side. Don't be tempted to try to go down the other side as the path suddenly ends! It wasn't well sign posted for disabled access around the garden when we were last there.

All running about done, food in, coal in, more DIY stuff in.:D
The rads in the kitchen and hall have been cemented as well as the hole outside DD's room, now i just need then not to stand on it.:rotfl:
Plan is food then make a start at fixing the hall ceiling. I already know it's gonna be a nightmare.
Boys will be sent to tidy there room after some food, Rhys is sleeping and DD can go over her maths. Hubby on his game so i'll get him to mix all the stuff for me then he can go back to it.:D
Utility room still a work in progress but i'll get there, more paint has been scrapped off and i'll fill abit more of the walls and a bit needs sanded.
That should keep me busy for awhile.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Ours has gone up vastly too, it does seem a lot, ours is around the same as yours, two adults two children.

wm on yet again (wonder why water bill is high!) DH is in the bath having returned the pressure washer.

Lots of clean clothes put away.

Might be worth asking the same question on the utilities boards, as people there do the maths

But... a dishwasher uses less water than washing up by hand... Sadly I don't have a meter, as I have a shared water supply, and nowhere inside the house to put one.

House is disgusting. Have now got up, put on a load of laundry, set off DW and showered. Bathroom and kitchen are WIP. I need to to floors and surfaces throughout and then reassess priorities.

Wildly behind on work too :o

First thing Is to check you don't have a leak. Can you see you meter? The utilities board will help you.

Food shop done, think I'm keeping the food ecomony going single handedly at the moment!

Just bough a great cheese called 'Drunken Goat' - have I ever told you how much I love goats:rotfl:

Next stop hoovering. Letting the younger two veg infront of the tv today as they both have a bit of a cold and are exhausted from the last half term.

OK, thanks. We'll do what research we can beforehand, use the chair where possible - and I can always send Mr LW to do a recce before venturing down the paths!;):D

I've had a soggy doggy x 2 today - the weather's foul, but Sidney has still had to have 2 walkies so far. Luckily he's very good about standing still to be towelled down.:o He's now fast asleep on the sofa. OK for some! *rolleyes*
