anyhoo, decided to cut the grass so I thought 'I'll not have my bath until after I have cut the grass, and strimmed. But it's raining - plan scuppered. Now I'm sat here in me nighty waiting for the bathroom to be free...

    ho hum

I think my hayfever cough may have developed into something more annoying.. ggrrrr... I had 2 major coughing fits last night.. well the second was at 6am.. I had to get up as I was wheezing so much I couldn't breathe. I came back to bed about 8 after a cuppa and loading the TD and DW.

Baby is rightways up again today so is currently doing star jumps.. very interesting behaviour!! lol Washing nets have arrived for the baby socks.. one less thing to buy :D.. The crib is STILL out of stock.. ggrrrrr... It is just not going to be here in time I know it!

DD1 has been kicked to get her up so she can bog off to KH's .. I need to wash myself and pack the bag for OH-mums.. I may call her MOL (mother out-law)

Peaches isn't happy about her newly recaptured status and Noel has been out catching breakfast that he can't eat as he has only about 3 teeth is his entire empty head.. thankfully the catflap is locked so he can keep it outside lol

oooh my lovely OH just brought me a cuppa. :D

  • short bird its pouring with rain here too! Still needs a pressure washer to get rid of the algae.

kezlou I was disappointed with Alnwick poisons garden, thought it was 2005, so maybe its loads better now.

Unloaded wm, put another wash on with the sheets from one bed. Have sorted out pre-school we think, at least we have caused them to actually find out what their legal responsibilities are which is a start. Off to do the dishwasher next, DH is pressure washing.

A friend of our visited the poisons garden last year, and said it was excellent. We're looking forward to visiting, as we're off up that way for a week in about 3 weeks' time.

We went a couple of years ago, just caught the tail end of the last tour so we missed quite a bit. It was interesting.
You will be able to park close to the gardens and can use you scooter all the way around, check whether you can take it in the poison garden though as the paths were a lot tighter there.

mumonamission The gardens are great for children especially if it is a hot day as they can play in the water . Take towels and spare clothes. Even DS3 got soaked last time we went. The tree house seemed like a huge rip off. It is really an expensive tea room. Maybe that is because we didn't have small boys with us though.

We did lots of flying here yesterday.Managed to finish the kitchen, living room and bathrooms. I say we as I am still delegating:)

Today is a very lazy day, I have just had a chat with DS3 on Skype. When I took him to the airport I thought that could be my last contact for weeks or even months but technology is of course much better than the days when my dad went away:o

hi ladies, sorry for no log innyesterday, but i had a full day in work and then hubby took me off out for Cosmopolitans, and to see sex and the city 2, AND let me have a lie in til 10am today! hes a bit under the weather today, think hes caught a bug off DS so they have both gone back to bed, meaning i have got all the dailies done, plus a bit of admin with tax cred and eon, and made myself a lovely brunch of baked mushrooms with ham and mozarella! the peace is lovely... my plan for the day is to have a little change around in our bedroom, visit the new Dunelm Mills in town, and start painting an old dresser i have for our bedroom.:D
