Just posted a long reply, then had a power cut
Anyway, good afternoon Flyladies :A DH and I spent the day in the garden and have just come back form a bike ride. He's made a pot of tea, which we're sharing with the last of DD's Lemon Meringue Cupcakes :j We're off out for supper with a group of friends, so I'm going to do a couple of HHCs to get the house straight for the weekend
HHC 17:30 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 18:30 anyone :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Thank you pigpen for the great lists. I've now officially finished my second week and the house has never looked so tidy.:T
I'm off on hols in a mo until the 6th June so there will be no flying for me next week except keeping the little old caravan clean. :j
I was going to take my DD's lap top with me but due to her constantly charging the thing, one of the connectors has now given up the ghost and it's £50 to replace. She did the same to her mobile. They get so angsty when they lose just one bar.
How did we get through childhood without all of this technology!!;)
Anyway have a great half term everyone. Cheers:beer:

:hello:Hi everyone!!
I woke up at 4am, and couldn't get back to sleep - I was so tired this morning, I curled up with a book DD gave me, and spent the morning reading!
A couple of cups of coffee helped wake me up, and I have cleaned the cloakroom, and done some decluttering/binbag dances, as well as loads of washing.
After lunch the sun came out and I spent the afternoon weeding (bindweed from next door...:(), watering, potting up seedlings and planting a few things out. The hawthorn nearby is in full flower - and although it looks lovely, I really don't like the smell!
DS2 had physics this morning, than came back with a friend. DD isn't feeling well - cold and awful cough. DS1 had applied for a voluntary post promoting Oxfam at music events, and heard this afternoon that although he didn't get the co-ordinator's post, they would like him on the team, okay, not paid, but good experience nonetheless, and he's very pleased.
Love and hugs to toots, lady-liberty and diva.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

In my first HHC, I've finished Mon-Thur's lists (DD and DS will do the bulk of their own rooms tomorrow). I'll join you in some paperwork and filing :j

Thank you boddy! And to everyone else as well!
I still have a huge grin on my face - even though I'm nearly falling asleep - the last two or three weeks, work has been frantic, and it's caught up with me...
boddy, how's your mum?It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
