I have a feeling it's going to be messy... difficult when you want to be there for a friend in a difficult situation and they start to see you as part of the solution. I think I might have become part of the problem as a result. :(

I know, I feel like a grown up now! Still can't get the grill thing on the top of the bathroom radiator off. It looks like there is a family of yetis living in there!
Don't bother trying to get it off - just prod stuff down between the bits of the grill. Also try hoovering from underneath ;)

Had a very productive 3 x HHC:T Bathroom is all clean and hoovered, just need to mop, have hoovered and remade bed after i fell asleep on the sofa last night so it didnt get done! Have also phoned o2 as i got an email telling me my bill was nearly double what it normally is:eek: Turns out the deal they offered me last year was only meant to run for 12 of the 18 months of my contract, however they didnt actually tell me this:mad: Lady on the phone was very helpful though and has reinstated the original deal so it runs for the full 18 months:D

May i have a special award for the stoopidest flylady going! I have just realised after about 6 months of owning my new hoover that i have been using the wrong attachment for hoovering carpet:o I have been using the hard floor attachment and wondering why it was so blooming difficult to hoover my bedroom:rotfl: I didnt even realise there was a carpet one as i must have just put it in the cupboard of doom and not realised what it was when i got the hoover delivered. I found the attachment yesterday and realised what it was:p Much easier to hoover now, my back was aching from the effort with the wrong one:eek:

    Happy Birthday mummyyof5 and mumofjusttwo:bdaycake::bdaycake:
    Toots big hugs.

I have managed to move our wardrobe into DD's room. Now to sort the boys floor of junk, split the bunk beds and give the room a real good cleaning. I'm hoping to make a start on the walls tonight, then phone sparkly tomorrow. If all goes smoothly i should have their room done in a week or two, new carpet and all.:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Consultant rang re Moomins pituitary function test. All her hormone levels are fine but the growth hormone is very low.. but due to her cerebral palsy they want to do an MRI to check there is no problem with the brain/pituitary gland before proceeding SO.. they are sending the referral through for the MRI which should ake 6-8 weeks to come through.. baby will be here in 7-8 weeks.. so it looks like I am taking a baby to her MRI.. they will not allow me in the room with the baby with her so OH will coem to hold her hand.. When DS2 had his Tiddles was 3 weeks old so it looks like a repeat scenario here!!

So in the next 2 months we are having physio, podiatry, MRI and growth checks.. these are all double appointments with DS2 or Tiddles apart from the MRI. Then tiddles has her finger appointment and orthopaedics and I have repeat bloods next week checking the antibody levels are not dangerously high for Squeak... There is no wonder I never get anything done!

Just updating my spreadsheets since I got a couple of statements through this week.. things are looking so much better.. money day tomorrow so I get to pay more bills.. is it just saddo me that gets excited about paying bills as it means I owe less???

I may find a list and see how little I have done off it!

I have an energy monitor too.. the thought of what it might say scares me too much so it is sill in the box it came in!

2 laptops and one pc on constantly pretty much
a wii/PS2/Xbox/associated monitors of which at least 2 are usually on
    the router
    fish pump
    fridge freezer and freezer
Microwave, kettle, toaster, radio, TD, 2 WM's, 1 stereo, 2 lamps and the occasional use of the vacuum cleaner...

I don't want to even think about the cost .. I'll just keep paying £90 a month with my eyes shut!

(((HUGS)))) Try not to get too downhearted. I know how down Mr LW got when he was looking for work; it's not you personally that's the problem, it's just there are so many folks needing jobs just now, unfortunately.

Stay positive; something will come up for you sooner or later. Sending posi-vibes.:o
