Hope you've all had a smashing crimbo and have a grand new years eve tonight!

I have been stuffing my face every minute of the day for the last week(as we speak im shoving some of the kids sweets in!) with no care for my poor thighs and rather large bottom thats getting bigger and dimplier by the day! I no longer have a pair of jeans that fit and so am living in leggings and smock dresses(i wore these dresses this same time last year. one major difference though-i was 9 months pregnant!)

But tomorrow is my turning point. I have read Paul Mackennas book 'I can make you thin' inside out and feeling good about the long road ahead. Im picking up a treadmill tomorrow noon(only £20-im MSE after all!) so hopefully i'll be running this time tomorrow night whilst you guys are celebrating! I just dont have the motivation to get outside and run, I live on a huge hill and it's such hard work its off putting! I have 'run' up it a few times and its just awful.

So im getting up at 7am tomorrow to get started on the house, operation declutter is well underway! I did the boys room today, my little ones moved in there as of tonight as she wakes up every hour in my room and so far she's slept since 9pm without a peep! That brought a bit of a sweat on moving beds and hoovering compulsively so it distracted me from food. Only another 8 rooms and 2 cupboards to go!!

    Bring it on 2011!

  • I'm almost embarrassed to be back here again, after so long, and having not actually lost much weight.

However, I've recently found out I need a biggish operation and have now been given a date at the end of February.

I think it would help the surgeons to have considerably less blubber on the operating table than at present. Hence I am looking to loose around 2 stone within the next 8 weeks. This averages at about 3-4 lbs a week. According to my SW consultant, it is doable, but I need to be DISCIPLINED. Not my strong point.

So back again like a bad penny but this time I've really gotta crack on with it.

Good luck QB, we're all rooting for you. I can give you the name of my local SW consultant who has babies galore in one of her groups - needless to say I won't be going to that one :o

    Here goes nothing...

got up at 7.30, early bird and all that! had a shower and did all the girly bits, legs, exfoliating, face mask ect and I feel really good. I feel happier with myself! But then I stood on the scales...

    17st 8lbs!

Its still lighter than my all time heaviest a few weeks ago-17st 11lbs so thats something I guess...?!

Off to pick up my treadmill soon, he only wanted £20 quid for it and there wasnt a picture so Im not expecting much!! Really excited about it, the OH is working tonight so I'll be pounding the 'mill :D

  • Ooh, Froggy, well done - at last night's SW group, we only had one loss - EVERYONE else was either a gain (me included - how on earth can I have put on 7lbs in the space of a week????) or a staying-put! QB
