    Thanks teapot!

Yep... stookie present and correct! Its my left wrist and I'm right handed. Mind you my right hand is rather bashed and sore too when I try and lift anything as it hit the ice hard too... just not enough to break thankfully! I also have a rather tender left bum cheek too! :rotfl:

Work will be fun... not sure I'll be able to do anything constructive for a while. :o :rotfl:

  • Fluffysox - congratulations!

Taka - ouch, hope it gets better quickly :(

I've somehow lost another 1lb this week, despite Mum staying.

We've been doing some wedding planning and I saw a dress I absolutely adore in one of the magazines. Turns out the local bridal shop is a stockist for that designer, so the moment I get under 10 stone I'm booking an appointment to go and try one on :D

Hello... another week gone! 3.2lbs lost this time! I'm sure this was half of last weeks loss as I only lost 0.4lbs last week.

Oh well at least I'm still loosing despite no skating! :) Its blumming hard to exist on a no-exercise (or very limited exercise eg a short walk) calorie allowance. I'm kinda hungry. :( I was always only a day or 2 away from a larger allowance on a skating day (as it burned a LOT of calories so I had to eat a bit more those days or run out of energy and feel ill) so I could cope with it but now its weeks away! :( I think I'll have to accept a much slower loss while I'm recovering. :(

My re-scheduled dietitian appointment is on Wed so I may ask for some advice then.

Anyone got any suggestions for exercise that I can do to keep some fitness for mainly the lower half of my body with no jumping (and hence banging my arm) involved with no real exercise equipment? Walking is possible but the weather is pants and my waterproofs don't really fit over my cast and I can't tie the shoelaces of my walking shoes!! :( My fitness DVDs are a bit too jumpy.

Sorry not been posting for a while. Weight (and mortgage) both continue to reduce slowly but steadily (the 5 lbs was since I last posted - not just one week!!) I cannot believe that I have lost over 4 stone now (58lbs) and only have 19lbs left to go. I went to a wedding recently and it was lovely to surprise people!

Keep up the hard work everyone

    Well done on your loss.

Could you do stepping on the bottom of your stairs? I'm looking at picking up some ankle weights and wrist weights and wear these while doing my normal stuff round the house. they are supposed to be good. Less than a tenner per set in Argos.
