I have a chest infection
, was only at work for about an hour and a half as doctors could only fit me in at 11.25am and I work about 40 minutes away. Being ill isn't very MSE......had to pay £1.80 for parking as I knew doc's would be running late, then £7.20 for a prescription  and decided to cheer myself up with a KFC snackbox
. Came home and had a little sleep as I felt so drained.
OH came home for 5 minutes to give me a nice cuddle, he said I really scared him last night because he could hear me struggling to breathe. Wasn't plesant at all!
Got three days of courses starting tomorrow, groan, it's the last thing I really want when feeling rubbish but can't be helped, I shall try to soldier through.

Thanks hun, I seem to have developed a cold to go with it so now I'm all bunged up with snotty intervals
, isn't it amazing how much we take feeling well for granted! I had to walk to college in torrential rain this morning because I didn't have any change for parking and my boots have rubbed the back of my calf red raw...OUCH!
Managed to get OH to pick me up to save walking home. Flat is a blinking mess so just gonna do the washing up before flaking out for the evening, feel do damn tired.

Take care and rest, chest infection is not something to play with. Last time I had it I promised OH that I would never ever complain of pain, as it was so bad though when next period arrived I kept complaining
. Get better!

Thank you for your well-wishes. I am feeling much better now but the past few days at college really took it out of me! Although it's a much shorter day at college all the learning is so brain taxing I was literally coming home and just laying on the sofa and making whimpering noises so OH would feel sorry for me :rotfl:.
I've also spent a mini fortune this week , I paid for parking two days which was £9 although I can reclaim it from work, we desperately needed food shopping but as I hadn't been I was buying lunch in town which soon racked up. Other than I haven't really done much! I did bag up all my change and must go and pay it into the bank this week, my mum also gave me loads of 20p's yesterday (for some unknown reason), some have gone in the change pot and some are in the vegas pot which I can't open
.
Went to a wedding reception last night for someone OH works with.....I know this will sound so horrible but it was a load of rubbish. The place was in the middle of nowhere so I don't think it helped that a lot of people were driving but the DJ was abysmal and I mean REALLY bad, the music was so bassy that everyone had headaches, he kept shouting at people for not dancing and he mixed so badly I was about to offer to do it myself. The bride ventured onto the dancefloor once but we hardly saw her or the groom at all. Because the bar was in the lobby outside the room people seemed to gather there where it was quieter so the main room looked fairly empty but they only had a few tables out and there wasn't enough room for people to sit down. The drinks prices were absolutely extortionate too . The real bone of contention was that the groom told OH their wedding was costing £16k :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:. They must have been well and truly ripped off somewhere along the line or her dress must have cost like £4000 because I just cant see how what they had warranted that money.
All of that aside, OH and I got dressed up and it was nice to make an effort
Not much planned for this weekend really, I need to sort my fish out as usual and I am working tomorrow night, got to go to North London for a meeting on Monday which is a pain but I will make some money on my mileage claim which will help. Might be a bit tight for money till payday as I did the shopping again this week but OH has bought takeaways so can't complain.
Hope everyone else is well
xx
