My contents insurance effectively cost me £13 with the Quidco cash back, unfortunately I couldn't get any on my car insurance but I use it as much as possible. I am hoping the Npower validates soon, I think it's been four months already . I used to do a lot of the casino/gambling offers but had a nightmare with a few a year or so ago and I got nothing back

Yeah, it took a long time to validate but than it paid out very quickly afterwards. I did the gambling offers as well but haven't done it for ages, maybe I should get back to it...0

I don't use Quidco because of this.
Have you tried Rpoints? They are sooo much better at tracking and validating, and they have a higher cashback match offer. So I always use them as I know they'll track and then just search for who is offering the highest and then submit that to them instead.
I did many of the gambling offers tooDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

You haven't heard of Quidco? I don't know much abour rpoint so will let Beccie fill you in but with Quidco you sign up and make purchases through their site from absolutely loads of retailers and you get cashback on what you buy. Big money can be made from phone contracts and utility switches etc
It's worth checking out!

Rpoints is the same! Basically before you make any purchase online always check if that offer is available for cashback. You may get offered a percentage or a fixed amount.
I have always used Rpoints because of the many problems people seem to have with Quidco not tracking or validating. It then pays to check out the main competitiors such as Topcashback etc and see if they are offering better cashback than Rpoints and then submit a claim as Rpoints promise to match it.
Eg. When I booked the hotel in London I went through Rpoiints before going to the last minute site and booked it getting me 3% cashback. I then went on Quidco, copied the link showing they were offering 8% and submitted to Rpoints. Meaning I have £22 odd due to me in October which is a nice little bonus!
I used this loads while doing the casino offers and it was a good extra bonus, but also great for when you take out insurance, electricity, book a hotel etc etc etc!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Car Insurance is another one that has good cashback rates generally

Not well at all today, last night I kept coughing and could feel my chest wasn't right but woke up at 3am coughing non stop and with so much fluid I could barely breathe, I had to wake OH up as I was starting to panic and he really thought he was going to have to take me to hospital . Managed to get it settled down and went back to sleep but have pulled lots of muscles in my back and it feels like someone has stabbed me in the chest. Boss has told me to go to doctors as I have three days of courses starting tomorrow......I ALWAYS get ill before courses, I had pig flu last year and a rotten cold in March
