It's F R I D A Y :j!!!
Feeling much more upbeat today (for once), busy planning how to get more into savings this month. Have printed off the Odeon voucher so will definately use that soon. Totally forgot in my monthly planning that I have five days on courses over the next two weeks and I always walk from home so that's going to save me around £25 in petrol :T.
MUST pay my change in soon as well, I can't be far off having another £10 in 20p's so once I have that I will take it all to Natwest and get in put in my account. Going to mums after work tonight for a cuppa, bit disappointed that I wont see DD as she is joining a party of hen's for a pink limo ride this evening. Tried to persuade OH to go to the fish shop for me today but he said he is too busy, might mean I have to go over the weekend which is a bit of a drag as it's only 10 minutes from work which means it's almost an hour from home. I am working tomorrow night so am looking forward to my 'day of rest' on Sunday! My ironing pile is threatening to escape from the airing cupboard so I guess I should pay it some attention over the weekend :rotfl:.
Think that's all I have to say for now,
Have a good day all
xx

My ironing pile is exactly the same, I try to avoid it for as long as possible but it doesn't always work! :rotfl:VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0

It always fascinates me these 'ironing piles' LOL - I just hand my stuff up as soon as it's dry and just iron a shirt in the morning as and when I need it. Seems better than standing and ironing for hours on end.
I'm so glad it's Friday! This weekend is long overdue. I'm so looking forward to not waking up tomorrowAdam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

Ha ha - I think not so much fascinating as scary! :rotfl:
Never had one - I just hang my stuff up and then wear it
But then I do live in t-shirt and jeans and trainers (I'm lucky I can also wear this to work) and girls t-shirts are stretchy so they don't need ironing
And if my OH wants his shirts ironed he knows where the ironing board is...:rotfl:Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I do all my ironing, in fact my OH doesn't do any. She managed to dry and fold everything with no creases at all!! :mad:Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

Think it must be something bout girls clothes that means they don't need ironing
What's everyone's plams for the weekend?
I'm out for dinner tonight with my boyfriend. We decided that as we aren't living together at the mo while we wait to move into our next place we should go on a 'proper date'. Is it sad that I'm so excited?! :rotfl:
Then working from 7 till close tomorrow night, unfortunately that'll be a 4am finish

Tonight I'm having a relax night - don't think i'll be doing any more than dinner and a bottle of wine to drink the week away.
Tomorrow, out for a walk in the morning then to a friends house for the night.

I only do ironing over the winter months mainly because that's when OH has to wear shirts:). Over the summer it's t-shirts (they dry very nicely):). I love ironing, it really relaxes me, OH does the hoovering instead which I really hate, so share the work:).0

Ooh you bunch of dirty thread jackers :rotfl:. My 'ironing pile' is still there! If I am totally honest, must of the ironing is mine
, OH has a uniform of cargo trousers and polo shirts so none of it needs ironing
. I do make sure I put everything flat over the airer when it's drying so some vest tops etc I can get away with. I can't remember the last time I did any ironing which explains why it's such a large pile!
I should have gone to the post office this morning to pick up some text books for my course next week but for some reason Parcelforce took them to the main post office right in the middle of the town centre high street , you can't park anywhere near it and I got up to late to really be able to go and wait 30 minutes to park. I might just pick them up on the day of the course as it's only a 5 minute walk from the PO.
Thought I would update my savings total weekly till the end of the month as hopefully this will give me motivation to keep topping it up :T. After paying in last weeks pub wages my account currently sits at: (drum roll......)
£662.05 :j
Already exceeded my target to the end of September, wonder how much it will be at the end of the month?
