Well it seems like a good idea to just wait and see what you fancy doing. There is no saying you have to give up the pub, but at least you have that option if you feel like it's getting on top of you too much.
At least you get a bonus at your work, I can only dream of a bonus/payrise!VSP - £14.76 | Saving for a Deposit0 -
Today = Bad Day
. Feel rubbish, fed up and want to go home to bed and just ignore the world for a while.
Meh!

I feel a bit better this afternoon, I think it was a serious case of 'wrong side of bed' which wasn't helped by a recurring 'issue' in my personal life. Most of the time I can deal with this 'issue' and it doesn't get to me but every now and then it really gets me down and I lose concentration and get really frustrated, when I go through that phase I just want the world to f**k off (pardon my french). Sorry it's all a bit vague but hopefully you get where I am coming from.
On the plus side I got a whole £1 on daily scratchy today
Hope everyone else is holding up better than I am today!

Good morning all, working from home this morning as mum had to go to work at the school for staff development so DD is sitting on sofa with her sleeping bag and is watching all sorts of totally rubbish american kids series on Nickelodeon :rotfl:.
Got 20p on scratchy today which was nice, especially after the £1 yesterday, small things please small minds as they say! Need to update my spending diary as I have been VERY slack over the past few weeks but apart from shopping/petrol I have only spent a few pounds on some much needed chocolate in the week since payday so quite happy with that. I do need to venture to the fish place this week though to get some water, flake food (which costs a fortune!) and a new air pump. OH bought me an overflow box for my custom built tanks yesterday so am looking forward to getting that and finally getting my custom built tanks running :T.
Saw the 40% off Odeon offer this morning so am going to suggest a night or two out to OH, 40% is quite a bit to save and we hardly go out together anymore so it will be a nice treat.
Weekend work saw me take home £110, have got the £10 as pocket money so need to pay in the £100 and my brother gave me £5 this morning for taking him to work and I have the £10 scratchcard OH gave me. My manager said that they might give us exam pass bonuses in Sept rather than wait till December which was the original plan. That would be nice because it might mean I can make an earlier than planning F&F offer to Cabot, fingers crossed :j

You got good money at the weekend, well done! Scratchies are good fun as well though I stopped ages ago, it's just so slow sometimes. Which site are you on?
We are def going to take up the Odeon offer, i would like to see Inception though haven't watched Eclipse either (and only odeon plays that movie in my area).
Hope today is a much better day than yest!0 -

ooo, I went to see Inception a few weeks ago, it was really good! I wasn't sure about it, but I really enjoyed it. It's long though, had too much to drink and spent the last 20 mins wriggling about :rotfl:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Glad you enjoyed the movie, I heard good things about it, my boss went to see it last week and she is still raving about it. Yeah, my problem is always that! I drink far too much before the movie starts than I just wriggle, it's really annoying cause I am never as thirsty as before cinema. Maybe it's just a cinema thing??0

I have heard loads of good things about Inception, might have to see it if it is still on
.
Yesterday afternoon I went shopping, naughty me. Went to Matalan but it was rubbish so then we went to Asda living and I finally gave in and bought some new undies which came to £14 and I bought DD a DVD that she wanted for £5, an alarm clock for a whopping £1.75 and some moisturiser, sweets, scrubbing brush etc...all little things which came to about £30 including the underwear so not too bad.
We then spent over an hour in hobbycraft just looking at things! I love that place, I am not creative but going in there makes me want to make things :rotfl:. We have agreed that in a few weeks time we are going to get some card making bits ready for Xmas. DD also found a scrapbook for girls, it's all laid out and has pages for 'my best friends', 'my pets' etc and I could tell she loved it. I think it was £12.99 in hobbycraft and I bought it from Amazon for £7.50 this morning :j so that is now 3 presents tucked away for Xmas.
This morning I transferred over £100 to my savings which was my pub wages from last weekend, so am well over my target now even if I don't add to it by the end of the month (which I will!). Only three weeks till payday so I am on 'frugal living' mode until then apart from the planned fish purchases.
