Thanks very much everyone :D, am feeling rather smug and pleased with myself at the moment, especially because I didn't just scrape a pass! It's given me more confidence for the next two I will be doing in Decemember but I have two months 'off' from study now so I can just relax a bit :).

Had a good weekend, went to my friends yesterday for her daughters birthday party, only spent £2.30 on a card and a drink (although I am sure I was undercharged) but did spend £6.30 this morning on some redbull and lunch etc. OH phoned earlier to tell me he was very proud of me and that he would take me out for dinner tonight which was nice but I am determined to just get a take away and slob out in front of the TV as I feel so knackered :rotfl:.

Only two days till payday as well, then I can reveal the new savings balance :T. Managed to secure an extra shift in the pub on BH monday so that's an extra few pennies. Going to a quiz night with work colleagues on Wednesday but will be a fairly cheap night.

Will try and catch up with everyone's diaries this afternoon as I'm not in the mood to do any proper work! ;)

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Enjoy the next 2 months, I am getting bored now with not studying, can't wait for the next module (finished in May though and passed both!) starting in October!

Oooh hello! Come on in the water is fine :D, no need to go back to lurking, stick around!! Very kind of you to congratulate me :).

Well ladies (and gents) last night was a night of revelations, I wont bore you all with it but I found out my ex boyfriend is now engaged to his girlfriend and I gather it was to celebrate their fourth anniversary....which is odd...as we didn't split up until the 26th of August :rotfl:. Just pretty much confirms what I already knew!! At least this means he might stop emailing me ;)

Also lots of rubbish and uproar in the family about something my nan is doing but it would take me too long to explain all the circumstances etc - families eh?

Picked my brother up this morning and he gave me £10 for petrol and I was mean and I took it :rotfl:. Ate a massive Thai last night, god did I feel sick afterwards but it was awesome. It's payday tomorrow (hopefully - and if I don't get paid it's my own fault as I do the payroll!) and am so excited about my savings total, I shall do the big reveal tomorrow as I have cash in my purse which I will transfer over from my pay when it goes in tomorrow.

Phew, think that's all for now! Feeling much more positive today and am determined to get that debt busted so here is to a frugal September

Oh, don't you just love these ex-es? Mine got together with my best friend and got married on their 1yr anniversary-which was about 10 months after we split up:rotfl:. They have now 2 kids and very happy, I'm really pleased for them and don't give monkey what other people think :D. I don't care that he cheated if he wouldn't have than I wouldn't have met my lovely fiance:T.

    Hi Jody,
glad to hear you've reached payday with plenty of savings left, looking forward to finding out the grand total tomorrow :)

oooh yummy Thai food, I really fancy Thai again this week, but just can't afford it, and it's never quite the same when I make it at home for some reason.

    Good Morning world!!

Kavics you are obviously a much nicer person than I am, if my ex walked out in the road in front of me I just wouldn't even consider braking :A, that said - obviously there is a lot more to the story and I have lots of reasons for saying that :rotfl:.

Jules the dining room here are offering a Thai Green today and I was sooo tempted but in true MSE style I decided not to spend the £2 as I had brought a sandwich :D. I still need to catch uo with everyone's diaries, I had intended to do it last night before I left work but my manager fried my poor brain instead .

Ok....so the bit you have all been waiting for I am sure...

    Total Savings to date:

    £548.66

:j so my target was to save £600 by end of Sept and I am only £50 off that now. I am very pleased as this month I also bought Zoo tickets, cinema tickets and my OH's trainers. Obviously I had a few extra shifts in the pub to help too. Was wondering whether I should revise the target but I probably wont as I think it will be very motivating to absolutely smash it. I am hoping that by the end of Sept I will have around £750 in savings but I do need to start picking up some xmas gifts rather than leaving it till the last minute. Still nothing from Quidco yet on the two big cashback amounts so I will start chasing them next week, those two and the change i still haven't paid into the bank will cover the remaining centreparcs balance :T.

Will catch up at lunch with you all
