I don't think you would have 'enjoyed' our karaoke last night then Jules! The best bit is watching people who have had a few drinks really going for it, the drink must give them 'I can sing' mist :rotfl:. Unfortunately it seemed to be the same tuneless people doing it all night. Good on them for having the courage to give it a go, I am totally tone deaf and I know it so I wont even try! Other than that work was ok, didn't get out till 12.40am which was a bit of a !!!!!! but I have pennies in my purse and am hoping I can surprise you all with a nice savings total at the end of the month :j.

I post semi regularly on the photgraphy thread in the arms section but I thought I would post a few pics here for you, I hope you like them (these were taken at the zoo on Thursday, unfortunately my battery died soon after getting there :()

Looking forward to a nice bath in a little while followed by some ironing and a big roast dinner, yum!

Have my photgraphic abilities scared you all off? :rotfl:

Well yesterday was a bit of a funny one, because we have dinner so early it messed my day up and I spent all evening really restless, I was naughty and blew all my free scratchy money on bingo :o (at least it didn't cost me anything!). Didn't do the ironing either......what a shame ;)

Been a bad, bad girl this morning and have bought OH some new trainers, there was a pair he saw on his birthday that he really liked but as he has flipper feet we haven't been able to get a pair in his size, absolutely everywhere is totally sold out . Today I managed to get him the same make and model of trainer but in very slightly different colours :T. They were £59.99 with free delivery and cashback through Quidco is already tracking which helps a little. I shouldn't have done it really but he has helped so much lately and wouldn't take any money back but I know he wont refuse some new footwear :D.

Been for a lunch time walk, not as long as the others but still an effort, will see how long it was later.

Well yesterdays walk was 2.8 miles, not too bad. Unfortunately it has been raining all morning so giving today a miss. Hopefully tomorrow will be better :).

Currently waiting to hear from my mum about my brothers leg, he is in a full leg splint at the moment following a silly football injury. They were seeing a surgeon today to see if they are going to operate . Mum is a bit worried as she is going to Vegas on Friday.....joy!

Got to be a very good girl until payday now, got more than enough in the bank to last me till payday plus I have almost £120 in my purse AND I am working an extra shift in the pub this weekend. :)

Thanks everyone. He is now waiting for an MRI scan appoitnment, the results of that will determine whether they will operate or not so it's going to be a while yet! I took him to work this morning and will be for the next week at least although I am off Friday so I have asked him to see if he can move his day off to Monday so I don't have to get up!

Had a letter fron Natwest last night about an unpaid item - some fish food I bought from Ebay. I swear I transferred the money over in time and I have no idea what has gone on but they say they might charge me? Will have to see if they do or not.

JD Sports have sent OH's trainers out so I am hoping they turn up today, he knows that I have bought him some but he doesn't know which ones, I really hope he likes them :). Nothing else very interesting to report really, all is quiet on the western front :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day

Aw Jody that's bad news for your brother, hope the appointment for the MRI comes through soon. Very nice of you to take him to work every day too :A

Sounds like you're sorted on being frugal til payday as well, hope you'll be able to add a big chunk to your savings pot :)

It's nice and sunny here today, hope you've made it out for a walk? ;) I'm going to try my first run for 3 weeks on Friday, hoping my foot will hold up this time.

I didn't walk today, it's the first time I have actually suggested not going, I just didn't feel like I had the energy but we ARE going tomorrow :D.

OH trainers came today, he is so happy with them, I think he has said thank you over 50 times already :rotfl:. He also phoned me this afternoon and started singing Stevie Wonders 'I just called......to say, I love you' :D, he does it quite often actually but I so want to put him on loud speaker one day for everyone to hear ;).

Last day at work for me tomorrow, off with DD on Friday although I have no idea what we are doing yet. She loves making cakes so we might just do that but will see what the weather is like. I also have a HUGE pile of ironing to do and need to change fish water so that's all on my 'Friday' list.

It seems almost everyone at work is planning a Sept/Oct holiday at the moment and I feel very left out :(, I know it's my own fault for being in this mess and I will hopefully be out of it very soon but it's still a little deflating.....
