The £50 was tickets to get in, I did think about just heading down that way but I don't know the area at all so wouldn't really know where to go! If you could suggest somewhere that would be great! :D

    Morning All,

Yesterday was an NSD and am hoping today will be one too. Can't believe I forgot to write it in my diary but from next month I have to pay HMRC back £40 a month for a tax credit overpayment :(, that's going to eat into the Maldives Magic fund .

Still haven't paid in my change so must do that soon! Also need to do some Ebaying, don't have much planned this weekend so might do it then.

Wont say too much on a public forum but am having some issues in my personal life so I apologise for not having posted on other peoples diaries as much as I should. I am just struggling to deal with some of my less attractive traits and am trying to focus on being more positive. Not convinced it's working but one has got to try ;)

    Hi Jody,

Well done on the NSD! :T

That's a shame about the paying back the overpayments - we're getting knocked from all sides at the moment aren't we. :(

On the ebaying front - I found out from Pennywise's diary that it's possible to ebay your extra clubcard points vouchers if you're not going to use them. Only a few ounds here and there but was thinking it all adds up, especially if you're on ebay anyway :)

Sorry to hear that your struggling with things at the moment. Can understand you not wanting to post anything on here if it's very personal, but if you ever want to sound off to someone not involved then drop me a PM and I'll try to help. Also, not offended in the slightest if you'd rather not! :)

    Hugs x

We're going on the 13th (Friday!) as well, staying overnight and back on the 14th. I really really want to climb up to Beachy Head but knowing my OH's elderly parents, we'll be stuck on the beach. Never mind.

    Well done on NSD!

Thanks for the well done's witht the NSD, today should be one as well hopefully!

Thought I would tell you this as it might make you chuckle. We decided we would go for a walk at lunch today and decided to do the same route we did last Friday although as we seemed to be much quicker on the pace we went a bit further. Then, although neither of us know the area at all, we deemed that is must be a circular walk! Asked a man at some stables who gave us some vague directions and said it was a little bit further then if we turned back (note the use of italics!). So we get to a crossroad and have completely forgotten what he said :rotfl: so we just picked a direction and kept walking.......

We had no idea where we were at all and kept laughing hysterically as we just didn't know what to do and we were too far along to turn back . Finally we found some signs directing us to where our hospital is, total walk must have been about 3.5-4 miles and took an hour and twenty minutes! We were blinking marching as well because I think we were both a little worried :rotfl:

    My legs ache!!!!

:rotfl: heehee! At least you've had a good exercise session today then. :) That reminds me of when we went to our friends wedding in Copenhagen. On the Sunday we were meeting for brunch at a restaurant in the suburbs, and we'd got directions off Google. We got off the train and walked for about 45 mins in the wrong direction, as the groom's mum had put the wrong address on the invite! Eventually one of the Danes came and collected us, turned out the restaurant was right by the station! :o

:rotfl: Jules! I can tell you that my butt considerably aches today!! We are planning another walk tomorrow, probably a longish one again but hopefully we wont get lost this time :D

Yesterday wasn't an NSD in the end *rolls eyes*, my mum thought I had booked the day off so phoned me to say that DD wanted to go and see Toy Story at the cinema. My boss said it was fine for me to leave at 4pm so we could go to the 5.15pm showing but I can't believe how expensive it is , I think Odeon are a bit of a rip off anyway but it's ended up costing us almost £33 for the three of us and that was without the 3D glasses  (I think I have some at home from previous films. Meh!!

My pub boss left me a long voicemail earlier about how she has booked a band for Saturday night but now can't get anyone to work (she is so dippy) so would I be interested, I am already doing 5pm till close on Sunday so phoned her and said I'll do a few hours to help but I am not doing all night Sat & Sun!! Looks like I'll be going in at 7.30pm and I will certainly not be staying until close - I hope she has gathered that or she will be very disappointed :rotfl:. Haven't told OH yet, we didn't have anything specifically planned for the weekend but it does seem like we are getting less and less time together :(, perhaps I will suggest we just have a day out together over the summer? At least on the brightside it will be a bit of extra summer holiday money :)

Think we might go to the Zoo later in August as well, either one more local to us or one down near Brighton, will have to examine the prices more closely :D

Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.
  • I know just how you feel about getting less and less time with your OH (I mean me with mine not me with yours!:D) he seems to always have work to bring home at the moment -hopefully it won't be forever. Once your in a position to stop working at the pub you'll end up being sick of the sight of him!

Hope your legs are feeling better xx
