Thanks Kel, I did the shopping list but then blinking well left it at home (again!). I did another one at work but it was a bit rushed, it all went to pot when I got to Asda anyway as I was getting pretty cranky so I was very naughty and was just chucking stuff in the trolley. It was a good job I made myself get a little one when I went in as there is only so much you can fit in them :rotfl:. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought seeing as I totally ignored the list - £48.67. My freezer and cupboard are stocked to the max so I know we have enough to last almost two weeks apart from a few essentials. NO MORE FOOD SHOPPING FOR A WHILE!!!!!
Feeling annoyed with myself as I seem to have done nothing but spend since I got paid, it doesn't add up to a huge amount but yesterday I paid for lunch as we had nothing indoors for lunch, that was £2. Then I put £3 in a collection for a work colleagues birthday, I don't begrudge it as she is lovely and always buys us little gifts. Had to put more petrol in the car this morning as well .
No more spending till the weekend now, I don' think I will need anything so it should be ok (just realised that's a lie as I need to get water for the fish on Friday which is going to be a few quid). Have been doing the scratchies still - 10p a day :rotfl:. Going to start knocking up a list of things to do at the weekend to try and keep me busy and I have lots of odds and sods to do. Got two parcels to collect from post office, one should be daughters books and one should be my live fish food :j
Right I best get to work, it seems everyone apart from me is off which means it's nice and quiet! Have a good day everyone x

Had a bit of food for thought tonight. When I checked my credit report some time ago I noticed that Cabot registered 2 defaults against me in 2007. The rest of my defaults were registered late 2006 when my DMP started so would drop off late 2012 which suits me fine in terms of getting a mortgage etc. I have done some digging and read lots of threads and been given some great advice from NID and I am going to send SAR letters tomorrow to see what route I can go down in getting them removed etc.
It might amount to nothing but I think I have to at least try, I definately don't ever remember recieving default notices from Cabot for these debts so am hoping that they can be removed, it has to be worth a try

Hi Jody,
Hope your sunburn is feeling a bit better nowA couple of years ago I burnt the back of my legs while we were camping. It was the sorest thing ever!
I always spend loads in the first week of the month, but that's generally because I haven't spent much in the last week or so. It all balances out in the end.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Thanks Jules, it's still a bit tender but is much better than it was!
I picked my live fish last night but unfortunately it wasn't live anymore!. I emailed the seller last night and he is going to send me a free batch with my next order which is kind of him as these things do happen but that means another £6.50 I have to spend and I can't get them till next week
Probably going to take the linen trousers back this week as they still dont fit properly so that will be a £16 refund and have withdrawn £18 from scratchies as decided I would rather it sit in my account earning interest than in theirs! Did two VO surveys yesterday for £1.50 so well on my way to another £10 :j
Almost the weekend too :T

The weekend cannot come soon enough if my eyes! I've had such a busy week, I've hardly slept! This weekend will be much catch-up on sleep for me!Adam's diary - My Debt Diary - The Challenge | LBM May 2010 with £23,343.35 | £16,141.46 to go...

It took me nearly a year to get to £10 on VO, I always seem to get screened out about half ways through surveys, so have put in a fair bit of time for nothing, same with global test market
On the other hand, I've been on Toluna the same time, and have just claimed my fourth £15 voucher.
Most annoyingly, I'm sitting at about £42 on yougov, and need to get to £50 to cash out, but surveys from them are so rare that I think it'll take another few months at least!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Hmmm, all these survey sites- really need to get my backside into gear!
Hope the sunburn is easing as day goes by - just getting over mine from 2 weeks ago when got burnt sitting in pub garden!
Went for my first run in ages ladies, just a little over 3miles and took 35 min....god knows how i'm going to do the 10 miles in Ocotber  Going to see if I can push myself to another tonight, although a lot later as it was SO hot last night whilst running!
Choc xx
P.S - don't beat yourself up about spends Jody, i'm the same when I first get paid and now have nothing left!!!0 -
You're doing well with the scratchies - what site are you doing them on and how does it work?
I also decided to get back into the survey sites recently as I hadn't done them in about a year. Pleasantly surprised when I logged back in - I could request a £10 voucher from VO straight away, I had £21 sitting in new vista and £18.95 in pure profile so I'm getting straight back on with those!
Does anyone bother with the daily clicks? I did but never ended cashing out with any of them as I found progress so painfully slow!

I do quite well with VO, I get surveys most days although I have noticed recently that I get quite a few that answer at least 10 questions then get told I don't qualify! I did moan about this to them but never got a response! I havent had anything from YouGov in absolutely ages and onepoll has been a bit rubbish this week!Choc-addict wrote: »Hmmm, all these survey sites- really need to get my backside into gear!

Thanks Beccie, I use Butlins Bingo for the daily scratchy, you have to sign up and deposit £10 then if you go to scratchcards page you will see the free daily scratcie. Once you have done your first one and won 10p or whatever you can withdraw your £10 and just keep doing the daliy free one! You get 2 on Sunday as well. I have heard that they are cracking down on people just trying to do the free one so it might be worth checking the T&C's first!
It sounds like you definately need the sleep Adam! I have got into this really bad habit of not going to bed until gone midnight which is no good for me, I do need at least 8 hours a night :rotfl:. Looks like today is going to be a hot one again, don't have any major plans for the weekend but am working Sunday night.
Have a good day all x
